Virgo is often accused of being a bit of a workaholic, overly focused on productivity, organization, neatness, and being a useful member of society.  That can be true, but what is not often talked about is what excellent friends you are.  This month, the planet in charge of good luck, joy, prosperity, and abundance is moving into the area of your chart that governs friends, teams, clubs, committees, the Internet, and your social life.  Your other people-oriented sectors are adding even more good news to this area of your life.  You are an excellent friend, team player, and colleague.  And people love including you in their group activities at this time.

Old News

From March 29th through June 10th 2014, Uranus and Pluto are battling once again.  These two planets have been in an on and off battle for the last few years.  This is the longest of their battles.  As both planets move backwards and forwards, they move in and out of alignment with each other.  Both are slow moving planets within the zodiac and that is why their connections (negative or positive) usually last for quite a while.  Uranus is in Aries.  Uranus rules over social networking, teamwork, friendships, and group activities.  Aries is the zodiac sign in charge of individuals, “me first”, and the entrepreneurial spirit.  Together, they are innovative, and they are representing the concepts of “we the people”.  Pluto is in Capricorn.  Pluto rules over trust, greed, loyalty, fidelity, profit sharing, and hidden motivations.  Capricorn is the zodiac sign in charge of public reputations, professionalism, hierarchies, aspirations, and climbing the Ladder of Success.  Together, they are representing oligarchies, corporate greed, hidden authoritarians, and the concepts of competition that are out of control, the dark side of “the ends justify the means”.  We have seen “we the people” fight against the greedy, controlling, unscrupulous, and heartless leaders of various corporations, countries, religions, and other institutions.  For Virgo, Pluto is still in your personal pleasure, lovers, romance, playtime, hobbies, creative talents, pets, children, sports, leisure, luxury, and happiness sector.  And Uranus is still in your trust and sharing, intimacy, fidelity, spousal and child support, joint assets, joint ventures, investments, stocks, commissions, royalties, tips and gratuities, inheritances, loans, lotteries, taxes, and other forms of profit sharing sector.  As these two clash again, you are likely to find yourself dealing with issues involving financial or sexual trust issues involving lovers, children, or pets.  Children could be asking for loans, pets could be tearing up the house when left alone, lovers might be accused of cheating or simply not having similar sexual needs, etc.  It is also possible that you are dealing with financial issues because your spouse is not bringing in their share of the income, a loan payment is due, or you are looking at your upcoming tax debt, etc.  These financial issues could be sucking the joy out of your life.  If you work in happiness-oriented industries like music, theatre, fine dining, luxury sales, etc., you could find that profits are down at this time and that is causing a problem for you.

From April 20th through September 6th, Saturn and Neptune are creating a strong and positive working relationship.  Neptune is intuitive, creative, romantic, passionate, spiritual, artistic, secretive, and in charge of unseen forces working behind the scenes.  Saturn is logical, practical, frugal, professional, hard-working, and in charge of karmic life lessons.  Together, they create a lovely blend between their two specialties and can bring practical forms of spirituality, long-term romantic commitments, and hardworking creativity.  For Virgo, Saturn is in your communities, communications, commitments, and commerce sector trying to teach you some life lessons about these topics.  And Neptune is in your marriage, best friends, business partners, rivals, enemies, and competitors sector trying to bring a bit of magic, intuition, romance, and/or compassion into these relationships.  This is an excellent time for you and a competitor or rival to iron out peace talks.  It is also a great time for business partners to work on sales presentations, community outreach projects, contract negotiations, and activities involving computers, telecommunication systems, vehicles, transportation, or electronics.  Married couples and best friends could enjoy community gatherings, spending time with each other’s families, neighborhood visits, shopping, running errands, or just enjoying smart conversations with each other.

From May 31st through June 3rd, the sun and Uranus begin working together.  The sun is still in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector.  And Uranus is still in your joint ventures, investments, stocks, commissions, royalties, tips and gratuities, taxes, and other forms of profit sharing sector.  Like before when Mercury and Venus passed through here, these planets are helping you to succeed financially and professionally.  You can use this time to discuss bigger commission checks, profit boosting ideas, and/or trust building activities with your boss.

New Developments

From June 1st through the 6th, Mercury is getting along wonderfully with both Saturn and Neptune.  This creates a three-way blending of energies between your local communities, interpersonal communications, and commercial activities sector, your partnerships and rivalries sector, and your friends, teamwork, and Internet sector.  This is an excellent time to mix business with pleasure, to attend all kinds of social and community gatherings, etc.  All three of your “people” sectors are combining in a positive and smart manner.  You have excellent planets involved if you want to use it for romantic purposes, like fun date nights, asking people to introduce you to potential partners, using the Internet to help you find possible matches, etc.  These are also excellent planets for helping you and a business partner with commercial activities.  The two of you can sell to all kinds of groups online and in person.  It is a lovely “word of mouth” energy for the two of you to use as a marketing tool.

From June 3rd through the 11th, Mars finally takes his turn clashing with Neptune the way that Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, and the sun already have.  Mars is in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector and Neptune is in your marriage, best friends, business partners, rivals, enemies, and competitors (think yin-yang) sector.  Your partner is upset about your level of success, professional path, reputation, choice of careers, boss, father, a high profile client, or an authority figure.  It is also possible that your boss or father figure still does not like your choice of partners.  If your partnerships are all doing okay, then you might find that a competitor is willing to smear your good name in order to win their battle with you.  With Neptune involved, things are not always what they seem.  The good news is that Mars is the last planet to pass through here and create this drama.

From June 4th through the 10th, Venus joins Mercury in the positive dynamic involving Saturn and Neptune.  All three of your “people” sectors are still blending together beautifully allowing you to focus on teamwork, partnerships, and/or community memberships.  Venus adds wealth, diplomacy, romance, and/or kindness to the situation.

From June 5th through the 10th, Mercury adds to the negativity between Pluto and Uranus.  Mercury is in your friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, networking, group activities, and the Internet sector, Pluto is still in your personal pleasure, lovers, romance, playtime, hobbies, creative talents, pets, children, sports, leisure, luxury, and happiness sector, and Uranus is still in your trust and sharing, intimacy, fidelity, spousal and child support, joint assets, joint ventures, investments, stocks, commissions, royalties, tips and gratuities, inheritances, loans, lotteries, taxes, and other forms of profit sharing sector.  This causes you to feel especially stressed as you try to balance your social life, personal happiness, committee obligations, financial needs, love life, and/or parenting responsibilities.  Too many people are putting their needs above your own.  You are trying to be all things to all people and it is not a winning strategy.  Even if you try to take a step back and just focus on your own personal needs and on spending time with your dearest loved ones, the world outside would still bombard you with social, romantic, and/or financial issues.  This is the beginning of another repeating pattern.  The sun, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter will all take turns passing through here and re-igniting this drama during the time that Uranus and Pluto are in their big battle.

June 8th hosts a new moon in your tenth house of your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success.  New moons are for fresh starts, new beginnings, launchings, births, conceptions, etc.  This is an excellent time for meeting a new boss, taking on a leadership role, getting a job promotion, deciding to follow your dreams professionally, launching a new marketing and advertising campaign, accepting a better job that pays more, earning rewards/kudos within your industry, and/or for beginning a professional path involving a completely new industry.   There is nothing negatively affecting this fresh start or new beginning in your career, so you can launch whatever professional or promotional projects you want to at this time.

From June 9th through the 14th, Venus steps into the same spot where Mercury was while clashing with both Pluto and Uranus.  Once again, a friend, teammate, colleague, or Internet entity is adding to the romantic or financial trust issues between you and your lover, child, or pet.  Social obligations could be adding to financial issues that are keeping you from being able to play, vacation, or indulge in your favorite things.

From June 14th through the 19th, Mars and Uranus are getting along quite nicely.  Mars is still in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector and Uranus is still in your joint ventures, investments, stocks, commissions, royalties, tips and gratuities, taxes, and other forms of profit sharing sector.  Together, they are promoting job interviews, professional trust building, increasing profits, earning bigger commissions checks, negotiating for better non-salary compensation packages, etc.  They are helping you with your financial and professional goals.

From June 22nd through the 29th, the sun takes his turn stepping into the spot where Mercury and Venus were when they were creating a positive three-way connection with Neptune and Saturn.  Once again, your local communities, interpersonal communications, and commercial activities sector, your partnerships and rivalries sector, and your friends, teamwork, and Internet sector are blending together in a smart, enthusiastic, and intuitive manner.  This is a very good time for you and your friends, teammates, colleagues, partners, relatives, neighbors, and other local community members to focus on commercial, social, Internet, networking, transportation, and/or communications oriented projects.  Everyone seems to be getting along and they are interested in hearing what you have to say.  You come across as compassionate, fun, and smart.

June 23rd hosts a full moon in your fifth house of personal pleasure, lovers, romance, playtime, hobbies, creative talents, pets, children, sports, leisure, luxury, and happiness.  Full moons are for endings, closure, grand finales, and “ta-da!” moments.  This is a great time for finalizing the purchase of expensive luxury items, finally taking a much needed vacation, finishing work on a creative project, finally adopting a baby (or pet), and/or completing any project you have been working on that brings a lot of joy into your life.  If you work in happiness-oriented industries (music, theatre, fine dining, daycare, luxury sales, etc.), you could find that this is a very good time for big professional grand finales.  This is also an excellent date night, a good time for finally getting someone to say yes they will go out with you, or for ending a dysfunctional love affair.  This full moon is also positively tied to the strong dynamic mentioned in the previous paragraph.  This means that your partner, friends, family, neighbors, teammates, and colleagues are supportive of this big moment in your life.  You could also find that the Internet, business partnerships, and smart negotiations help you to achieve professional or commercial goals within happiness-oriented industries.

On June 26th, Jupiter moves into Cancer and your friends, teamwork, and Internet sector.  As mentioned in the 2013 Overview, in Cancer, Jupiter becomes far more nurturing.  Cancer is the sign of the home, childhood, mothers, safety, security, a comfortable retirement, and what kind of private life we prefer.  Jupiter brings knowledge, global awareness, and expansion to these topics.  Globally, we are more likely to want to make sure that the world’s children are fed, the poor are sheltered, the sick are healed, etc.  However, Cancer is not a gullible zodiac sign that can be easily tricked into caring for the manipulative, dysfunctional, or lazy.  Cancer is the classic Mother Hen always looking out for her loved ones but also shrewd, intuitive, and not at all afraid to call us out when we are getting out of line.  It is the Mother Hen who not only loves us enough to tell us the truth about ourselves when we are being jerks, but also the same one who will roll up her sleeves and get to work helping us when we are in our time of need.  Jupiter’s time in Cancer could help us globally to become kinder and more caring towards each other, but we will be expected to maintain a realistic and practical outlook while doing so.  For Virgo, Jupiter will be in your eleventh house of friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, groups, social activities, networking, connectivity, science (how small parts connect to make the bigger whole and/or how they interact to create a process or system), and the Internet.  Virgo natives make excellent friends and teammates because you approach your social interactions from a loyal and compassionate Cancerian perspective.  While Jupiter moves through this area of your chart, your life is blessed with more friends, more social outings, more clubs, etc.  You could find that careers involving committee meetings, teamwork, networking projects, Internet activities, and/or the sciences (interconnectivity) are also blessed at this time.  When Jupiter is left to do as he pleases from within Cancer in your eleventh house, he will bless this area of your life and could possibly include financial growth as part of his “abundance”.  When other planets clash with Jupiter as he travels through here, he will increase the chances for too much nurturing, bossiness, and/or cattiness within your social circles.

From June 28th through July 5th, the sun is opposing Pluto.  The sun is in your friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, networking, group activities, and the Internet sector and Pluto is still in your personal pleasure, lovers, romance, playtime, hobbies, creative talents, pets, children, sports, leisure, luxury, and happiness sector.  Oppositions between these two sectors usually create a battle between team-spirit and “me time”, between friends and lovers, between Internet-activities and spending quality time with loved ones, or between social obligations and your favorite pastimes, etc.  It is easy to feel like too many people are pulling on you at the same time.  You are too popular, too busy, too needed, etc to be able to relax and have some fun or to spend time with the special people in your life that really matter the most.  Do what you can to create balance.

From June 29th through July 3rd, Venus is clashing with Saturn.  Venus has moved into your emotional, spiritual, paranormal, charitable, bureaucracies, mysteries, and secrets sector and Saturn is still in your local communities (neighbors, relatives, clansmen, hometowns, current communities, transportation, routes, traffic), interpersonal communications (writing, speaking, computers, telecommunications, electronics), and commercial activities (buying, selling, negotiating, contracts, agreements, commitments) sector.  When these two areas clash, we usually see problems and challenges involving drunken neighbors, dysfunctional family dynamics, local gossip, hospitalized or institutionalized family members, self-destructive community members, secrets, lies, or hidden agendas causing problems for you and your community.  It can also be about bureaucrats causing problems for your relatives, neighbors, or community members.  You are at the center of the problem or you are the one they are all turning to for help, rescue, assistance, guidance, answers, etc.  Either way, you are not happy to be involved.
