If I do end up adding to or updating the ebook after you have purchased it, Smashwords allows you to download newer revised versions free of charge.  I think you have to manually go to their site looking for them, but they are posted there for you to access whenever you like.
If you purchase the paperback version, it will be mailed to you within a few days and should arrive within 4-14 days depending on how far away you live and which shipping method you choose.  During the holidays, mailing time could slow down.
