You still have some financial issues involving friends, teammates, business colleagues, or the Internet, but otherwise your finances should be showing some improvements.  You are experiencing some great sales, negotiations, bartering, and/or communications skills too.  After some struggle and debate, a political, legal, cultural, religious, academic, or media related journey comes to an end.

Old News

 

From October 11th through March 9th, Saturn and Pluto clash.  This is that same battle that the sun and Mercury triggered.  This time, it is bigger, uglier, and far more important.  Saturn is leaving your “success” sector and moving into your “social networking” sector.  From this new location, he is trying to teach you some life lessons about your social skills, how you interact as part of a team, club, committee, etc, or the life lessons could be about the Internet.  Pluto is trying to add personal power, enlightenment, profits, and sex appeal to your personal finances and your sense of self-worth.  With these two titans clashing, you could find your social life and your finances are in a major upheaval.  It could be website promotions, membership dues, etc.  If you join a team, club, or association and become “one of the gang”, you could find that you are not paid your fair share or you feel like you are working for a lot less than you deserve.  Or the inability to get hired by a group could have a harsh effect on your self-confidence.  This is the first of Saturn’s “social networking” life lessons.  Still, it should be less troublesome than Saturn’s travels through your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and success sector over the last few years.

 

New Developments

 

January 4th and 5th, Mercury, Venus, and the sun are teamed up together in your personal wealth, net worth, assets, bank accounts, salaries, wages, and self-worth sector.  Venus rules over this area of your chart and Mercury rules over intellect and commercial activities.  Therefore, this is a great time for setting financial goals and formatting detailed plans for meeting those goals.  This is a wonderful time for financial negotiations.

 

From January 10th through the 20th, Mercury travels backwards to join Pluto who is still at war with Saturn in your friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional association, Internet, and networking sector.  Mercury adds an argumentative energy to the social and financial challenges you have been dealing with.

 

From January 12th through the 15th, Venus and the sun are in the same spot in your personal wealth sector that Mercury used to be in before he started traveling backwards to rejoin Pluto. Venus and the sun are working together to help Uranus in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, childhood issues, retirement circumstances, and “coming home” sector.  They give you another opportunity to work on household finances, to help your parents with their money problems, to let them help you with yours, and/or for you to work on a home-based Internet business.  Venus rules over the financial sector that she and the sun are in, so she is extra strong and able to really help you with financial goals at this time.

 

January 15th hosts a new moon in your personal wealth and self-worth sector.  This new moon is tied to the positive energy generated between Venus, the sun, and Uranus.  New budgets, new sources of revenue, new bank accounts, new assets, and/or new levels of self-confidence are encouraged at this time.  This is also an eclipse so you could find that this new beginning creates a bigger impact on your life than you might realize.  It could be a life-changing event.

 

From January 18th (or 17th depending on which time zone you are in) through June 6th, Jupiter moves into Pisces.  He will focus on bringing more mental health, spirituality, inner peace, charity, compassion, and kindness into your writing, communications, commerce, and local community sector.  However, when other planets clash with him, then he is more likely to increase the passive-aggressiveness, dishonesty, secrets, lies, emotional stress, bureaucracy, red tape, and various roadblocks keeping you from accomplishing very much.

 

From January 20th through the 24th, Venus is in your interpersonal communications, local community, and commercial activities sector working with Saturn in your social networking, friends, teamwork, and connectivity sector.  You are able to charm, sell, inspire, persuade, laugh, and/or communicate from your heart with friends, teammates, colleagues, committees, and various groups of people.  This is also a good time for Internet-based communications, commerce, and networking.

 

From January 22nd through the 27th, the sun steps into the same place where Venus is.  This adds to and extends the positive energies between your “social” sector and your “community” sector.  Again, the focus is on social and professional communications with various groups of people.  Sales meetings, social outings, Internet activities, etc are all blessed by this strong positive energy.

 

From January 25th through the 29th, Venus moves over to begin opposing Mars.  Venus is now promoting love, beauty, wealth, justice, diplomacy, and seduction in your local transportation, interpersonal communications, commerce, and local community sector.  Mars is still in your long-distance travel, multicultural, religious, legal, political, philosophical, academic, and mass media sector.  When these two sectors are in opposition we often see battles involving small town thinking versus global awareness, staying local versus traveling abroad or moving to another city, depth versus breadth of knowledge, etc.  All forms of travel, communications, commerce, perspectives, academics, and politics are vulnerable at this time.

 

From January 27th through the 31st, the sun takes over the battle with Mars.  As Venus leaves, the sun steps in to continue the debate.  Your heart is on the side of staying local, bonding with people in your community, and trying to see things from their point of view.

 

January 28th through February 15th, Jupiter and Pluto join forces to blend your “wealth” sector and your “home” sector together in a positive and productive way.  This is a good time for working on household budgets, home-based businesses, mortgages, rental contracts, real estate deals, and/or for helping your parents with their finances or letting them help you with yours.

 

January 29th hosts a full moon in your long-distance travel, multicultural, religious, legal, political, philosophical, academic, and mass media sector and it is entangled in the opposition between the sun and Mars just mentioned.  You could end a legal battle, come home from a long journey, or finish working on a political, academic, religious, or media-related project.  You could end a relationship with someone that works in travel, legal, religious, political, academic, or media-related industries.  You could kick someone out of your life that you are tired of battling with.  However, it could also be the natural conclusion of something that you happened to also have been struggling with.  Just because it is a tense ending does not mean that it is a bad ending.  You may be relieved to have finally accomplished a difficult task.

I have always felt that I should tell you when good things are coming so that you can position yourself to take advantage of as much of that goodness as you can.  And that I should also tell you the truth about the bad things coming so that you can brace yourself and plan accordingly.  I still believe in that philosophy even though we are going through challenging times at the moment.  Therefore, I will still write the original style of in-depth monthly forecasts, as well as the new “Hope ‘Scopes”.

You are not normally known as a sappy romantic communicator.  Normally, Sagittarius is rather blunt and matter of fact about such things.  This month, you are in the mood for all kinds of sweet words, love songs, poetry, and finding a way to share your heart with people you care about.  This even lends a creative and compassionate nature to your sales, marketing, bartering, negotiations, and other commercial activities.  That could be part of the reason that you are so successful by month’s end.

From February 5th through the 7th, Mercury and Uranus team up to create some great brainstorming energy.  Mercury is in your personal wealth and self-worth sector revisiting a spot he was in weeks ago before backtracking for a while.  During his absence, Venus and the sun passed through here triggering this same dynamic.  Uranus is still in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, childhood issues, retirement circumstances, and “coming home” sector.  This is an excellent energy for working on household budgets, real estate deals, rental contracts, and other home-related financial activities.  It is also an excellent energy for telecommuting and for home-based Internet companies.

 

From February 5th through the 10th, Venus and Neptune are traveling partners.  Whenever these two planets work together, we can expect more romance, charity, compassion, kindness, beauty, and creative arts.  These two planets are teamed up together in your communications (writing, computers, etc), commerce (negotiations and sales), and local community (extended family, neighbors, hometowns) sector.  They can help inspire your communications, they can help you find beautiful ways of marketing and advertising your work, and/or they can help you to show kindness, love, and compassion towards people in your local community or hometown.
