Synopsis:

 

Trust issues, profit sharing, fidelity, loyalty, and joint finances seem to be the center of all activity this month.  There are times when it seems like friends, teammates, colleagues, and the Internet are all trying to mess with these areas of your life.  You have other times when these topics are encouraged and you are able to heal, grow, love, and prosper.  Follow your gut instincts.  If something feels wrong, it probably is and if it feels safe, it probably is.  You still have to do your homework and make sure that you have facts to back your decisions, but when you really cannot tell which way to go, your intuition should serve you well.

Old News

 

(Returning from the past)  From October 5th 2008 through March 12th 2009, Saturn and Uranus are in a major opposition.  They will take a break from this battle for a few months and then oppose each other again from August 22nd 2009 through October 9th 2009.  Globally, this is very similar to an opposition between these two planets back in 1965 and 1966.  Back in the mid-60’s, Saturn represented the older generation, conservative views, government, rules, regulations, chastity, prudence, and doing the right thing (like joining the military and supporting the Vietnam War as a sensible patriot).  Pluto was helping Uranus and together they represented the youthful rebellion of the time, “Age of Aquarius”, brotherhood, anarchy, individualistic personalities, independence, sexual freedom, chaos, and anti-war/anti-military sentiment.  It has taken a little over forty years, but these two planets have now traded places.  This is part of why we have a similar situation politically and culturally to what we had back then.  It is also why the concepts of a new generation wanting to take power from an older generation is also coming into play.  Culturally and politically, we will see this battle playing out.  Saturn is in Virgo representing banking systems, governments, and professional business protocol.  Uranus is in Pisces representing chaos, upheaval, and self-destruction.  Uranus also represents teamwork, social networking, and group dynamics, so we will see the Internet, “all for one and one for all”, and teamwork as the new solutions to many of our old problems.  This generational change cannot be stopped any more than the political and social changes that took place in the late 60’s could be stopped.  For better or worse, we must re-evaluate our political philosophies and attitudes about brotherhood.  Is the ideal philosophy “every man for himself” or “I am my brother’s keeper”?  The goal is for us to achieve balance, not for a pendulum to swing from one extreme to another.  For Pisces, this dynamic will show up in your romantic, social, and professional partnerships.  It will also cause you to become more aware of your competitors (think yin-yang).  This is a shorter and easier version of the battle between you and a best friend, lover, business partner, or competitor last winter.  Since Uranus is involved, it could be that you are seen as too independent, eccentric, or chaotic and your partner is seen as too old-fashioned, bossy, dogmatic, or boring.  This could also be a competitor that is butting heads with you.

 

From September 19th through October 11th, Mercury backtracks and officially rejoins Saturn in his battle with Uranus.  The sun is still there too, so it is a pretty tough battle.  The sun leaves September 20th and Saturn leaves October 9th, so even though it starts out bad, the energy begins easing up.  With Mercury being the last planet to participate in this opposition, he has the responsibility of trying to negotiate peace talks.  It will not be easy, but you might be able to create peace between you and your spouse, best friend, business partner, or a competitor.  (Globally, the economic, political, and social battles that arise when Saturn and Uranus clash will ease up just in time for the holidays!)

 

From September 28th through October 9th, Mars gets in-between Mercury and Uranus’ battle and tries to help smooth things over.  Mercury is still representing your spouse, best friend, business partner or a competitor.  Uranus is still representing you (and your desire for freedom, originality, etc).  Mars is in your personal pleasure, lovers, romance, children, pets, hobbies, creative talents, playtime activities, luxury, and happiness sector.  You could decide to stay together for the sake of the children.  You could find that the passion between you is rekindled and you are able to have fun together again.  You could decide that your mutual happiness is more important than whatever you are fighting about and so you find a way to bring joy back into the relationship.  It is a good time for couples to kiss and make up!

 

New Developments

 

October 3rd hosts a full moon in your personal wealth, assets, and self-worth sector.  Full moons are for endings, closure, grand finales, and “ta-da!” moments.  You could collect monies owed to you, close out bank accounts, accomplish a financial goal, sell off assets for a nice profit, and/or finally acquire an asset that you have been wanting for quite some time.  There is nothing negatively affecting this full moon, so you should be able to profit nicely from it.  You could also experience a lovely “ah-ha!” moment in which you find yourself with more self-confidence.

 

From October 6th through the 13th, the sun and Jupiter work quite nicely together to blend your mental health, attitudes, intuition, spiritual mysteries, secrets, bureaucracies, and “hidden forces working behind the scenes” sector with your trust and sharing, intimacy, fidelity, loyalty, joint finances, joint ventures, commissions, inheritances, lotteries, stock options, loans, insurances, paid vacation, taxes, and profit sharing sector.  This is a lovely time for romantic encounters and joint financial projects.  Since the trust and sharing sector also rules over hidden psychological aspects of life, you could also find it is a good time for emotional healing.

 

From October 8th through the 12th, Venus takes her turn opposing Uranus.  Once again, a lover, best friend, business partner, or competitor (think yin-yang) is causing problems for you.  The two of you are not seeing eye-to-eye.  Since Venus is involved, it could be finances, fairness, a female, or effeminate male that is causing the uproar.

 

From October 9th through the 12th, Mercury moves back into the spot he was in a few weeks ago when he battled Pluto in your friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, connectivity, and networking sector.  Once again, financial negotiations, trust, and/or loyalty issues are the center of your problems with friends and colleagues.  It could be simple like a lack of trust that the team can succeed.  Or it could be something major like a friend is trying to seduce your lover.  The sun has already passed through here showing you how you personally are affected by the drama.  Now, Mercury adds an argumentative flair to the problems.  This is the last time Mercury passes through here, but Saturn, Venus, and Mars still have to take their turn, so even though you will try to negotiate, it is not going to be resolved just yet.  In addition, since Pluto is in the Internet sector and Mercury rules over computers, you should be very careful when conducting financial transactions online.

 

From October 11th through March 9th, Saturn and Pluto clash.  This is that same battle that the sun and Mercury triggered.  This time, it is bigger, uglier, and far more important.  Saturn is trying to teach you some life lessons about trust and sharing, fidelity, loyalty, profit sharing, commissions, royalties, stock options, etc.  Pluto is trying to add personal power, enlightenment, profits, and sex appeal to your social networking sector.  With these two titans clashing, you could find romantic and financial problems involving friends, teammates, colleagues, associates, and websites.  Potentials for romantic or financial disloyalty are quite high during this time.  You should also be quite leery of getting involved in any ‘get rich quick’ schemes that are presented to you at this time.

 

From October 13th through the 17th, Venus joins Saturn in the battle with Pluto.  You could find that a female (or an effeminate male) adds to your romantic or financial trust issues.  Venus could also represent legal, diplomatic, and/or seduction issues tied to the battle.

 

From October 13th through the 20th, the sun and Neptune are working quite nicely together.  The sun is in your trust and sharing (sex and money) sector.  Neptune is still in your mental health, attitudes, intuition, spiritual mysteries, secrets, bureaucracies, and “hidden forces working behind the scenes” sector.  This is a great time for psychological healing, romantic encounters, and intuitive “knowing” when it comes to joint financial deals.  Spending time on or near the water could be quite inspirational at this time.

 

October 17th (or 18th depending on which time zone you are in at the time), you have a new moon in your trust and sharing, intimacy, fidelity, loyalty, joint finances, joint ventures, commissions, inheritances, lotteries, stock options, loans, insurances, paid vacation, taxes, and profit sharing sector that is positively affected by the dynamic involving the sun and Neptune in the previous paragraph.  This is a lovely energy for launching any goals or projects involving these topics.  Last month’s new moon in Virgo was more logical and partnership-oriented and this one is more romantic and trust-oriented.  However, any new beginning or fresh start involving these topics is blessed.

 

From October 19th through the 22nd, Mercury and Jupiter are blending your mental health, attitudes, intuition, spiritual mysteries, secrets, bureaucracies, and “hidden forces working behind the scenes” sector with your trust and sharing (sex and money) sector.  This is another opportunity for psychological healing, romantic discussions, and financial negotiations.  Jupiter adds good luck and joy to this dynamic.

 

From October 22nd through the 25th, the sun and Pluto are getting along quite nicely.  Pluto is still in your social networking sector and the sun is moving into your tourism, travel, legal, political, religious, and academic sector.  This is a great time for enjoying academic, cultural, political, and religious events with good friends.  It is also a great time for international marketing, making friends with people all over the world, and for socially motivated travel.  This is also a good time for taking college classes with a group of friends, maybe you could all take a cooking class, dance class, etc together.  Friends, teammates, colleagues, and associates can help you to open your mind, broaden your horizons, and/or to explore the world.  This is a great time for sharing “journeys” of all kinds with friends and colleagues.  Mercury, Venus, and eventually Mars (when he finally catches up with the others) will all pass through this same spot.  Therefore, this is just the beginning of a lovely repeating energy.

 

From October 22nd through the 26th, Mercury switches from working with Jupiter to working with Neptune.  This is another opportunity to work on psychological healing, romantic relationships, and/or joint financial projects.  When Neptune and Mercury blend energies, they create a smart intuitive energy; so do not be surprised if you begin some creative brainstorming that turns out quite nicely.  You could find that spending time near or on the water adds to the inspirational energies brewing at this time.

 

From October 24th through November 4th, the sun and Mars are clashing.  Mars is in your daily work, coworkers, to-do lists, chores, duties, productivity, physical health, and “feeling useful” sector.  The sun is in your travel, multicultural, political, religious, legal, philosophical, academic, and mass media sector.  When these two areas clash, we usually see ineffective business training classes, coworkers’ bigotry, anti-productive rulings from the legal department, language barriers in the work place, and/or difficulties involving business travel.

 

From October 26th through the 31st, Venus takes her turn working with Jupiter to bring more good luck, joy, and/or prosperity through psychological healing, romantic encounters, and/or joint financial activities.
