Synopsis:

 

It seems that everyone is arguing politics, religion, legalities, etc.  Your coworkers and you are caught in the middle.  You also could still be dealing with travel and education related challenges.  The good news is you are improving your finances, your self-confidence, your problem-solving techniques, and your ability to mediate between all of these unhappy people.  Your leadership skills are fine-tuned and desperately needed to help everyone keep from blowing their tops.  Lucky for the rest of us that Leos aren’t shy about taking center stage!

Old News

 

From March 25th through September 3rd, Saturn will be traveling backwards through your chart to recreate that big ugly battle with Uranus that we all dealt with in 2008 and 2009.  Saturn is still in your third house of local community, interpersonal communications, and commercial activities.  During part of the time that these two planets are clashing, Saturn will backtrack and revisit your personal wealth and self-worth sector.  Uranus will be in your eighth house of trust and sharing, intimacy, fidelity, loyalty, joint finances, joint ventures, and profit sharing, but he will be making a preview visit into your ninth house of travel, cultures, laws, religions, politics, philosophies, universities, mass media, and global awareness after this opposition begins.  Like before, globally we will see the world battling independence versus government, brotherhood versus civic duty, rebellion versus organized systems, chaos versus order.  This has been a big part of the economic problems most countries have been facing.  Civil rights, global technology, and international brotherhood are all aspects of this debate.  In the past, Uranus and Saturn were in zodiac signs that specialize in seeing how old ways no longer serve us.  Therefore, the focus globally was on how to tear down old systems.  We fought over which systems to tear down, how to tear them down, which should be saved, and who had a better grasp of what was actually wrong with the world.  This year, there will still be some of that, but there will also be a chunk of time when these opposing planets will be in zodiac signs that build, create new beginnings, and love fresh starts.  Therefore, we will find ourselves arguing over what the new beginning should look like.  2009 was about what to get rid of; 2010 is about what to replace it with.  In general, it is an easier battle and a lot less depressing.  For you personally, it was and will again be about your finances and a “mine” versus “ours” battle, or an issue involving self-worth versus infidelity/trust issues.  At times, part of the dynamic will also involving balancing your “home town” and “global” aspects depending on which sectors Saturn and Uranus find themselves on at any given time.  Do you stay local or expand globally?  Can you earn more with a regular salary or irregular commission checks?  Are your financial prospects better in your current city or should you relocate to another city?  Can you talk through your philosophical, religious, political, academic, and/or cultural differences in order to build trust?  Can you handle a long-distance relationship without either of you cheating or destroying the relationship because of a fear of infidelity?  The overall nature of the battle is “my needs and my way of doing things” versus “your needs and your way of doing things” and/or which location has the best financial prospects?  Keep in mind that the real focus is on building something new, not on trying to salvage the old ways that no longer work.  It is time to look at how to move forward, not for trying to recapture the past.

 

From April 8th through July 20th, Saturn revisits Virgo.  As mentioned before, Saturn is tangled up in a battle with Uranus during this time, so his focus will mostly be on financial dramas.

 

From May 4th through September 3rd, Jupiter opposes Saturn.  Jupiter is sneaking up behind Uranus and the two will soon be in a partnership as they both battle against Saturn.  Jupiter expands whatever he touches but he also tries to get people to see things from other people’s points of view.  Jupiter rules over global travel, multicultural studies, philosophies, religions, laws, universities, mass media, and “walking a mile in someone else’s shoes”.  Globally, we already have been dealing with younger generations wanting to take power from older generations.  We have seen battles between fundamentalists and rebels, between government and independence, between old-fashioned rules and futuristic visionaries, between old media (newspapers and television) and new media (the Internet), between stoic go-it-alone philosophies and brotherhood philosophies, etc.  Now, with Jupiter helping Uranus, the youthful, rebellious, brotherhood, social networking, and futuristic types are going to feel a huge boost of power in their favor.  Remember, this is a yin-yang placement of an almost identical astrological situation back in 1965 and 1966.  The Baby Boomers still see themselves as the youthful future-seekers, but a younger generation sees them as the old-fashioned ones dragging their feet and holding up progress.  Jupiter encourages a global, multicultural, academic, and judicious approach.  For you personally, Jupiter is helping with the trust and sharing, fidelity, joint ventures, commissions, royalties, and profit sharing side of the battle against Saturn in your personal wealth and self-worth sector.  You could find that you are having better luck with joint finances, joint ventures, investments, commissions, royalties, tips/gratuities, etc as opposed to working for a regular dependable salary.  You could also find that despite whatever trust issues you might be dealing with, that the opportunity to fall in love and to bond with someone is becoming too difficult to ignore.

 

From May 11th through January 31st 2011, Jupiter and Uranus are traveling partners.  As mentioned earlier, they are teamed up together battling Saturn as their partnership begins.  For now, they are in your eighth house of trust and sharing, intimacy, fidelity, loyalty, joint finances, joint ventures, investments, stock options, loans, lotteries, inheritances, child and spousal support, commissions, royalties, gratuities/tips, insurances, and other forms of profit sharing.  They are working hard to help you romantically and financially.  In a couple of weeks, they will move into your ninth house of long-distance travel, multicultural teachings, languages, religions, politics, laws, universities, mass media, and global awareness.  When this happens, they will change their focus towards these other topics.  It is an optimistic, youthful, and sometimes rebellious energy.

 

From May 28th through August 13th, Uranus is in Aries and your ninth house of long-distance travel, multicultural studies, languages, religions, politics, laws, philosophies, universities, mass media, and global awareness.  Global networking, international teamwork, spontaneous travel, and Internet education could be very helpful and enjoyable for you over the next few years.  Legally, you could come out as a genius or as too stubborn depending on what the other planets are doing at the time.  Professionally and socially, you could really enjoy hosting Uranus in this area of your life because you are encouraged to explore the world, other cultures, religions, philosophies, politics, etc.  You can do it with friends and colleagues, or you can do it via the Internet, but social networking, teamwork, and technology are entering your “global awareness” sector and this could be quite exciting and fun.  Just be careful with legal issues and do your best not to accidentally offend others by coming across as bigoted or ignorant of the ways of the world.  This is also a wonderful time for going back to school to learn something new.  Universities and the Internet can mix to create some great online classes.  If you are looking at learning a new trade, taking marketing classes, etc… you could find that you “get it” a lot faster than normal and that you are able to really enjoy the experience.  This is a preview of what the next few years will look like beginning next year when Uranus moves into this area of your life full-time.

 

From June 6th through September 9th, Jupiter visits Aries and your ninth house of long-distance travel, cultures, languages, religions, politics, laws, philosophies, universities, mass media, and global awareness.  Jupiter is trying to give you a preview of the wonderfully upbeat, adventurous, and lucky energy that he will bestow upon you next year, but Saturn’s opposition is making it a little difficult for you to take full advantage of this preview visit.

 

From June 17th through September 9th, Jupiter and Uranus will be angering Pluto.  They are already in an opposition with Saturn, now they are also clashing with Pluto.  Jupiter and Uranus are still in your long-distance travel, languages, cultures, politics, religions, laws, academics, media, and global awareness sector.  Pluto is still in your daily work, coworkers, to-do lists, productivity, physical health, and “feeling useful” sector.  This is one of those “Clash of the Titans” events.  “Youthful rebellion” is butting heads with “trust and hidden truths.”  Globally, the desire for transformation and innovation clashes with “there is a right way and a wrong way to manage a revolution.”  The hard work and deep thought involved in successfully revolutionizing things is a rude awakening for idealistic groups wanting instant change.  “Yes we can” is all about enthusiasm and group cheerleading.  However, change does not come quick and it does not come easy.  That does not mean it is not coming, it just means that there is some difficult “grown up” stuff that has to be figured out and impatience does not help the cause.  For you personally, it is your work that is clashing with cultural, legal, and academic issues.  Employee bigotry, ineffective training classes, mandates from the legal department, business travel, long-distance communications problems, or international marketing is causing productivity problems for you and your coworkers.  You should also be careful when considering exotic health and fitness regimes.  Make sure your doctor has approved whatever treatments, exercise programs, or special diets you might be trying.  Travel-related illnesses are especially likely at this time.

 

New Developments

 

July 1st and 2nd, Mercury and Mars are creating an alliance.  Mercury is in your mental health, secrets, spiritual mysteries, charities, bureaucracies, and “hidden forces working behind the scenes” sector.  Mars is in your personal wealth, salaries, wages, assets, and self-worth sector.  Together, these two can help you create financial and emotional security.  Financial activities involving government agencies, corporations, charities, hospitals, prisons, institutions, and other bureaucratic organizations are especially blessed at this time.  You could also work through any emotional or psychological issues that might be holding you back or making you feel like you are not worthy of success, financial security, respect, or love.

 

From July 5th through the 11th, Venus opposes Neptune the way Mars did last month.  Venus is in your “me” sector.  Neptune is still in your marriage, best friends, business partnerships, competitors, enemies, and rivals sector.  Once again, you and a spouse, best friend, business partner, competitor, enemy, or rival are not seeing eye-to-eye.  This time, the energy is less confrontational and it is a little easier to mediate.

 

From July 6th through the 15th, the sun steps into the same place that Mercury was just in.  Now, it is the sun’s turn to work with Mars to help you bring more emotional and/or financial security into your life.  This time it is more action-oriented rather than cerebral.

 

From July 8th through the 10th, Mercury is working to help ease the tensions between Saturn and Jupiter/Uranus.  Saturn is in your personal wealth and self-worth sector.  Jupiter and Uranus are in your travel, cultures, languages, politics, religions, laws, rules, academia, mass media, and global awareness sector opposing Saturn.  Your finances are negatively affected by legal issues, college tuition costs, travel expenses, tithing requirements, political contributions, cultural activities, etc.  Mercury is in a position to mediate and to offer solutions from within your mental health, spiritual mysteries, and bureaucracies sector.  You could find that through prayer, meditation, creative visualization, an attitude adjustment, etc that you are able to brainstorm some great solutions to your financial challenges.  You could also find that projects involving charities, government agencies, corporations, institutions, and other bureaucracies help you to resolve the issues.  Maybe you need to work with the government to get a discount on your travel visa, or charitable organizations help you to finance your education, or a government appointed mediator helps you to mediate a legal agreement that helps you with your budgeting needs, or a church is able to help you with your taxes or financial needs.

 

From July 10th through the 16th, Venus and Pluto are working very nicely together.  Venus has moved into your personal wealth sector.  Pluto is still in your daily work sector.  These are the two planets in charge of seduction and finances.  Together, they can help you work towards achieving your financial and professional goals.  You come across as smart, persuasive, productive, and financially savvy at this time.

 

July 11th hosts a new moon eclipse in your mental health, addictions, self-destruction, attitudes, gullibility, intuition, spiritual mysteries, paranormal events, secrets, charities, bureaucracies, red tape, and “hidden forces working behind the scenes” sector.  This is an excellent time for entering recovery programs, adopting new attitudes, embracing new forms of spirituality, etc.  It is also a good time for new jobs, projects, etc involving bureaucratic organizations.  If you already work in a large organization, you could discover new ways of maneuvering through and around the various policies and red tape that tend to bog things down.  The sun and Mars are still blending your personal wealth and self-worth sector and your mental health, spiritual mysteries, and bureaucracy sector, so you could find there are financial and self-confidence related benefits to this new beginning or fresh start that you are creating in your life.

 

From July 19th through the 29th, the sun in your mental health, spiritual mysteries, and bureaucracies sector is working quite nicely with Jupiter and Uranus in your travel, cultures, religions, politics, laws, and global awareness sector.  You could really benefit emotionally and spiritually from traveling, studying other cultures, taking college classes, joining political, religious, or cultural groups, and anything else that broadens your horizon and opens your mind and heart up to other people’s way of life.  It is also a good time for blending bureaucratic organizations with these same topics.  Therefore, international charities, foreign governments, academic institutions, corporate churches, etc could somehow add value to your life, make your life easier, and/or help you with whatever it is that you are working on.  You could also find that a simple road trip and some new scenery are emotionally and spiritually refreshing, like a psychological “reboot”.

 

From July 21st through the 24th, the sun is also working with Saturn who is slipping back into Libra and your third house of interpersonal communications, local community, and commercial activities.  Jupiter and Uranus are still opposing Saturn, creating legal, academic, philosophical, political, communications, and/or travel related challenges.  Someone in your life is probably dealing with a small town thinking versus global awareness debate and you are stuck in the middle of it.  Now with the sun moving into Leo and working nicely with both ends of this opposition, you could find that you are the one who is best able to resolve the various issues, challenges, and misunderstandings.

 

From July 24th through the 28th, Mercury and Neptune are creating another opposition in your life.  Mercury is in your “me” sector where Venus and Mars used to be.  Neptune is still in your marriage, best friend, business partner, rival, competitor, and enemy sector.  Once again, the two of you are not getting along.  Your partner or rival is coming across as flaky, delusional, addicted, self-destructive, or overly gullible.  You are trying to talk some sense into them, but they are not really listening.

 

July 25th hosts a full moon in your partnerships and rivalries sector.  Full moons are for endings, closure, grand finales, and “ta-da!” moments.  This is an excellent time for the two of you to finish working on a big project, to accomplish a goal together, or to agree to stop treating each other badly.  It is also a great time to end unhealthy romances, to stop allowing a best friend to take advantage of your kindness and generosity, to quit a business partnership, and/or to finally end a competition.  There is nothing negatively affecting this full moon so it should be a great time for you.  Even if you break up with a lover, you seem to have an adventurous and philosophical attitude that is keeping you from feeling bad about it.  This could also be a wonderfully steamy hot summer night with a full moon simply there for the two of you to enjoy together.  Jupiter and Uranus are sending positive energy from within your foreigners, travel, cultures, laws, politics, religions, and global awareness sector.  It could be a good day for finalizing legal agreements between you and a business partner or between you and an adversary.

 

From July 26th through September 14th, Saturn battles Pluto.  Jupiter and Uranus are already thumbing their noses at Pluto and they are still opposing Saturn.  The opposition between Saturn and Jupiter/Uranus gets even uglier for a while, because of Pluto’s involvement.  Pluto’s battle with Jupiter and Uranus is already creating, legal, cultural, and/or travel related challenges for you and your coworkers.  With Pluto and Saturn clashing, you could find that office gossip, miscommunications, your daily commute, faulty computers and telecommunications systems, and/or problems with your neighbors or extended family are making it very difficult for you and your coworkers to meet production goals and deadlines.  To make matters even worse, Mars is teaming up with Saturn until August 8th and will be adding an extra dose of anger, aggression, and/or agitation to this drama.  Try to remember that everyone is dealing with this harsh energy in some aspect of their life and try not to say or do anything that you will regret later.

 

From July 27th through August 1st, Mercury and Pluto are getting along wonderfully.  Mercury is entering your personal wealth, salaries, wages, assets, bank accounts, and self-worth sector.  Pluto is firmly planted in your daily work, coworkers, to-do lists, chores, productivity levels, physical health, and “feeling useful” sector.  Pluto likes to dig up hidden truths, trust issues, and hidden resources.  Mercury likes to share information, analyze, and negotiate.  Together, these two can help you find ways to achieve your financial and professional goals.

I have always felt that I should tell you when good things are coming so that you can position yourself to take advantage of as much of that goodness as you can.  And that I should also tell you the truth about the bad things coming so that you can brace yourself and plan accordingly.  I still believe in that philosophy even though we are going through challenging times at the moment.  Therefore, I will still write the original style of in-depth monthly forecasts, as well as the new “Hope ‘Scopes”.

From May 11th through January 31st 2011, Jupiter and Uranus are traveling partners.  As mentioned earlier, they are teamed up together battling Saturn as their partnership begins.  For now, they are in your eighth house of trust and sharing, intimacy, fidelity, loyalty, joint finances, joint ventures, investments, stock options, loans, lotteries, inheritances, child and spousal support, commissions, royalties, gratuities/tips, insurances, and other forms of profit sharing.  They are working hard to help you romantically and financially.  In a couple of weeks, they will move into your ninth house of long-distance travel, multicultural teachings, languages, religions, politics, laws, universities, mass media, and global awareness.  When this happens, they will change their focus towards these other topics.  It is an optimistic, youthful, and sometimes rebellious energy.

 

From May 28th through August 13th, Uranus is in Aries and your ninth house of long-distance travel, multicultural studies, languages, religions, politics, laws, philosophies, universities, mass media, and global awareness.  Global networking, international teamwork, spontaneous travel, and Internet education could be very helpful and enjoyable for you over the next few years.  Legally, you could come out as a genius or as too stubborn depending on what the other planets are doing at the time.  Professionally and socially, you could really enjoy hosting Uranus in this area of your life because you are encouraged to explore the world, other cultures, religions, philosophies, politics, etc.  You can do it with friends and colleagues, or you can do it via the Internet, but social networking, teamwork, and technology are entering your “global awareness” sector and this could be quite exciting and fun.  Just be careful with legal issues and do your best not to accidentally offend others by coming across as bigoted or ignorant of the ways of the world.  This is also a wonderful time for going back to school to learn something new.  Universities and the Internet can mix to create some great online classes.  If you are looking at learning a new trade, taking marketing classes, etc… you could find that you “get it” a lot faster than normal and that you are able to really enjoy the experience.  This is a preview of what the next few years will look like beginning next year when Uranus moves into this area of your life full-time.

 

From June 6th through September 9th, Jupiter visits Aries and your ninth house of long-distance travel, cultures, languages, religions, politics, laws, philosophies, universities, mass media, and global awareness.  Jupiter is trying to give you a preview of the wonderfully upbeat, adventurous, and lucky energy that he will bestow upon you next year, but Saturn’s opposition is making it a little difficult for you to take full advantage of this preview visit.

 

From June 17th through September 9th, Jupiter and Uranus will be angering Pluto.  They are already in an opposition with Saturn, now they are also clashing with Pluto.  Jupiter and Uranus are still in your long-distance travel, languages, cultures, politics, religions, laws, academics, media, and global awareness sector.  Pluto is still in your daily work, coworkers, to-do lists, productivity, physical health, and “feeling useful” sector.  This is one of those “Clash of the Titans” events.  “Youthful rebellion” is butting heads with “trust and hidden truths.”  Globally, the desire for transformation and innovation clashes with “there is a right way and a wrong way to manage a revolution.”  The hard work and deep thought involved in successfully revolutionizing things is a rude awakening for idealistic groups wanting instant change.  “Yes we can” is all about enthusiasm and group cheerleading.  However, change does not come quick and it does not come easy.  That does not mean it is not coming, it just means that there is some difficult “grown up” stuff that has to be figured out and impatience does not help the cause.  For you personally, it is your work that is clashing with cultural, legal, and academic issues.  Employee bigotry, ineffective training classes, mandates from the legal department, business travel, long-distance communications problems, or international marketing is causing productivity problems for you and your coworkers.  You should also be careful when considering exotic health and fitness regimes.  Make sure your doctor has approved whatever treatments, exercise programs, or special diets you might be trying.  Travel-related illnesses are especially likely at this time.

 

From July 26th through September 14th, Saturn battles Pluto.  Jupiter and Uranus are already thumbing their noses at Pluto and they are still opposing Saturn.  The opposition between Saturn and Jupiter/Uranus gets even uglier for a while, because of Pluto’s involvement.  Pluto’s battle with Jupiter and Uranus is already creating, legal, cultural, and/or travel related challenges for you and your coworkers.  With Pluto and Saturn clashing, you could find that office gossip, miscommunications, your daily commute, faulty computers and telecommunications systems, and/or problems with your neighbors or extended family are making it very difficult for you and your coworkers to meet production goals and deadlines.  To make matters even worse, Mars is teaming up with Saturn until August 8th and will be adding an extra dose of anger, aggression, and/or agitation to this drama.  Try to remember that everyone is dealing with this harsh energy in some aspect of their life and try not to say or do anything that you will regret later.

 

New Developments

 

From August 3rd through the 12th, Venus joins Mars and Saturn in the big opposition against Jupiter and Uranus (with Pluto caught in the middle and being pulled at by both sides.)  Typically, Venus would try to add diplomacy, seduction, wealth, beauty, or justice to help solve a problem.  However, she is unable to help mediate the situation.  Six of the ten planets are now involved in this war.  Venus, Mars, and Saturn are representing your local commute, neighborhood, community, extended family, hometown, communications, negotiations, and commercial activities sector.  Jupiter and Uranus are representing your long-distance travel, relocation, cultures, laws, politics, religion, philosophy, academia, mass media, and global awareness sector.  And Pluto is representing your daily work, coworkers, employees, to-do lists, chores, productivity, physical health, and “feeling useful” sector.  All forms of travel, communications, commerce, belief systems, and negotiations are clashing with your ability to get anything done, especially at work.  Employee bigotry and gossip, shipping and tracking issues, cultural differences, language barriers, computer malfunctions, telecommunications problems, misunderstandings, etc are all ways that your productivity levels can be negatively effected.  This is the worst of it.  Mars and Venus will wander off together leaving the Titans to carry on the battle until mid-September.  As Saturn moves deeper into Libra and your local community, commerce, and communications sector and Jupiter and Uranus move back into Pisces and your romantic and financial trust and sharing sector, this battle will end.
