How Do You Get a Spirit Guide
to Come Teach You Stuff?
I get asked some variation of this question more often than all of the other questions combined. How were you led to this line of work? How were you taught to hear, sense, and feel the spirit guides when they come to talk with you? How does someone get their angels to come and teach them how to channel the voices of the gods? How come you can hear God and I can’t? How was I taught/led? I was led kicking and screaming and was taught with bricks upside the head! You’ll think I’m being silly but I mean it!
Honestly, I was never religious and had no real need for it. While going through
a huge hellish crisis, THEY (angels, spirit guides, god, goddess, the force, whatever
you call it… for me it’s a choir of voices speaking in unison, so I’ll just say THEY)
came to me. I did not call out to the universe for any sort of celestial guidance
or help. I actually was in a horrible dark and ugly frame of mind because I wanted
someone who was putting my children into a dangerous situation stopped, killed, or
destroyed. I was not at all in a loving, spiritual, and holy frame of mind. I was
a mother terrified for the safety and well-

THEY told me that I would be doing this work and I knew THEY were absolutely wrong.
I was not who THEY thought I was. I was not qualified, trained, nor educated enough
to do what THEY wanted me to do. THEY kept dragging me in this direction while I
threw tantrums and fought it all the way. Then some serious smacks upside the head,

In June of 1999, I finally took that leap of faith and quit my ‘real job’ to go work for THEM. THEY’ve taken care of me ever since. I watched the company THEY told me to start go bankrupt three times in the first two years. Yet, I always managed somehow to have rent money and grocery money show up. If I give up and quit, then I find myself slamming into brick walls, glass ceilings, and such wherever I go to try to make a living doing anything else. This is the only career that simply moves forward even when it stops, it always picks itself up again and keeps moving onwards and upwards.
I write what I’m told to write when I’m told to write it. I say what I’m told to say when I’m told to say it. If THEY don’t show up to guide or correct me, then I assume that I’m heading down the right path. THEY only show up for serious attitude adjustments, realignment of life’s path, and occasionally to deliver a message to me or to someone that I’m supposed to be helping. THEY are not available for idle chitchat and refuse to show up for showing off at parties. THEY aren’t my ‘friends’ here to keep me company. There were many times along the way that I begged THEM to send me a guru, teacher, psychiatrist, guide, mommy, someone who knew more about this stuff then I did who could steer me and hold my hand along the way. I asked for a 3D real live person. THEY never sent anyone. THEY home schooled me themselves if that makes sense?
How do you make that happen? You don’t. If you are screwing up and are open to the idea of THEM, then THEY’ll come straighten you out. If all is going relatively well, then THEY leave you alone to live your life your way. Do as you will. THEY absolutely will not help me to improve on any of the paranormal gifts that I already had haphazard unreliable use of. It’s not their job. THEY aren’t our babysitters, coaches, or teachers. THEY simply guide us if we get waaaaay off path like I was. Personally, I think that all of these people that claim that angels are assigned to us to serve our every whim and to teach us magic tricks and such are full of it. Could be that it’s just my experience that my particular guides won’t teach me because I would get all wrapped up in playing with my new skills like they were parlor tricks. So maybe it’s just me that THEY won’t help.
THEY had me write the book Voices about our relationship even though I didn’t think it was time yet, because THEY said people would need the information in it. This is the most frequently asked question that I’m asked, so I guess that’s what the book is for. It goes into a lot more detail. It explains about MARGARET who THEY sent to guide and teach me things that you wouldn’t think a spirit guide would teach, but she did and she was right. She never taught me about how to use spiritual gifts. THEY taught me how to be spiritual rather than how to do spiritual stuff… if that makes sense?
