Jupiter, the planet in charge of good luck, adventure, prosperity, and abundance moves into your zodiac sign this month. He will spend about a year here blessing everything you do and encouraging you to have an open mind, to explore, and to expand your horizons. Saturn and Neptune are in agreement with Jupiter and are encouraging you to not only open yourself up to new adventures, but to also make sure that you are having fun while doing so.

From March 29th through June 10th 2014, Uranus and Pluto are battling once again. These two planets have been in an on and off battle for the last few years. This is the longest of their battles. As both planets move backwards and forwards, they move in and out of alignment with each other. Both are slow moving planets within the zodiac and that is why their connections (negative or positive) usually last for quite a while. Uranus is in Aries. Uranus rules over social networking, teamwork, friendships, and group activities. Aries is the zodiac sign in charge of individuals, “me first”, and the entrepreneurial spirit. Together, they are innovative, and they are representing the concepts of “we the people”. Pluto is in Capricorn. Pluto rules over trust, greed, loyalty, fidelity, profit sharing, and hidden motivations. Capricorn is the zodiac sign in charge of public reputations, professionalism, hierarchies, aspirations, and climbing the Ladder of Success. Together, they are representing oligarchies, corporate greed, hidden authoritarians, and the concepts of competition that are out of control, the dark side of “the ends justify the means”. We have seen “we the people” fight against the greedy, controlling, unscrupulous, and heartless leaders of various corporations, countries, religions, and other institutions. For Cancer, Pluto is still in your marriage, best friends, business partners, rivals, enemies, and competitors (think yin-yang) sector. And Uranus is still in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. As these two clash again, your boss, father, or an authority figure could be upset with your choice of partners. Or they could be upset because of something your rival or competitor is saying or doing. It is also possible that your spouse, best friend, or business partner is angry about your professional path, reputation, leadership style, father, boss, or an authority figure in your life. It could be something major, like you have been unemployed for too long and your partner thinks it is your fault for not trying hard enough or for not putting your best foot forward when interviewing. Or it could be something minor, like your father and your spouse are constantly arguing.

From April 20th through September 6th, Saturn and Neptune are creating a strong and positive working relationship. Neptune is intuitive, creative, romantic, passionate, spiritual, artistic, secretive, and in charge of unseen forces working behind the scenes. Saturn is logical, practical, frugal, professional, hard-working, and in charge of karmic life lessons. Together, they create a lovely blend between their two specialties and can bring practical forms of spirituality, long-term romantic commitments, and hardworking creativity. For Cancer, Saturn is in your personal pleasure, lovers, romance, playtime, hobbies, creative talents, pets, children, sports, leisure, luxury, and happiness sector trying to teach you some life lessons about these topics or trying to inspire you to make a career out of one of these topics (like becoming an artist, musician, or simply working in an industry that you truly love). Now is the time to make those dreams come true.

From May 31st through June 3rd, the sun and Uranus begin working together. The sun is still in your emotional, spiritual, paranormal, charitable, bureaucracies, mysteries, and secrets sector. And Uranus is still in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. Like before when Mercury and Venus passed through here, you are once again encouraged to focus on evaluating, planning, and brainstorming ideas that will help you with your professional goals. It is a good time to make sure that you are not self-destructive and sabotaging your own goals. And you can make sure that your spiritual, emotional, and professional goals are in alignment.

New Developments

From June 1st through the 6th, Mercury is getting along wonderfully with both Saturn and Neptune. This creates a three-way blending of energies between your romance, playtime, luxuries, and happiness sector, your “me” sector, and your travel, laws, and knowledge sector. Together, these three planets are creating a wonderful opportunity to fall in love with foreigners, travel with loved ones, sign up to take fascinating college classes, adopt exotic pets, learn about other cultures, etc. The idea is to have fun while exploring and broadening your horizons. This is the beginning of a repeating pattern.

From June 3rd through the 11th, Mars finally takes his turn clashing with Neptune the way that Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, and the sun already have. Mars is in your emotional, spiritual, paranormal, charitable, bureaucracies, mysteries, and secrets sector and Neptune is in your long distance travel, languages, foreigners, relocations, tourism, cultures, politics, laws, religions, mass media, universities, and global awareness sector. This is the last time that you will have to deal with a battle between facts and feelings, the rules and compassion, dogma and spirituality, etc. You are questioning religious, political, cultural, academic, legal, and/or media-related beliefs. Mars makes the energy angrier this time. Try not to say or do anything that you will regret later.

From June 4th through the 10th, Venus joins Mercury in the positive dynamic involving Saturn and Neptune. Venus adds wealth, charm, diplomacy, romance, beauty, and/or persuasion to the situation. This is a good time for you and your loved ones to travel, explore, take college classes, learn about other cultures, religions, etc. If relocating to another city would bring joy into your life, then this is a good time to start researching how to go about doing so. You could also fall in love with exotic people or get involved in a long-distance love affair.

From June 5th through the 10th, Mercury adds to the negativity between Pluto and Uranus. Mercury is in Cancer and your “me” sector, Pluto is still in your marriage, best friends, business partners, rivals, enemies, and competitors (think yin-yang) sector, and Uranus is still in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. Your partner was already upset about your boss or professional path, now you are too. Or if a competitor is lying to your boss about you, you are now in a battle with your boss as you argue to defend yourself against false accusations. This is the beginning of another repeating pattern. The sun, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter will all take turns passing through here and re-igniting this drama during the time that Uranus and Pluto are in their big battle.

June 8th hosts a new moon in your emotional, spiritual, paranormal, charitable, bureaucracies, mysteries, and secrets sector. New moons in this area of the chart promote new attitudes, spiritual practices, emotional outlooks, and beginning therapy if it is needed. You could make new beginnings or fresh starts involving mental health, addiction recovery, spiritual practices, charitable donations, and helping the less fortunate. This new moon also promotes fresh starts or new beginnings involving corporations, institutions, government agencies, charities, and other bureaucratic organizations. This can mean new jobs within these entities, new projects involving them, or new relationships with the pre-existing bureaucracies in your life.

From June 9th through the 14th, Venus steps into the same spot where Mercury was while clashing with both Pluto and Uranus. Once again, you and your spouse, best friend, or business partner are upset with each other and with your reputation, leadership style, professional progress, level of achievement, boss, father, or an authority figure. Or your competitor has convinced an authority figure that you are a loser and now you are again trying to defend yourself.

From June 14th through the 19th, Mars and Uranus are getting along quite nicely. Mars is still in your emotional, spiritual, paranormal, charitable, bureaucracies, mysteries, and secrets sector and Uranus is still in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector. Together, they help you to come up with ways to get past the corporate policies, government red tape, and other bureaucratic messes that have been bogging you down professionally. They can also help you to pray, meditate, visualize, and reflect upon your professional path, to make sure that you are working in an industry that feels right for you, and to make sure that you are not doing anything self-destructive that would sabotage your chances for success.

From June 22nd through the 29th, the sun takes his turn stepping into the spot where Mercury and Venus were when they were creating a positive three-way connection with Neptune and Saturn. Once again, your romance, playtime, luxuries, and happiness sector, your “me” sector, and your travel, laws, and knowledge sector are blending together in a smart, enthusiastic, and intuitive manner. This is a great time to watch children graduate, take vacations, sign up for fun college classes, get involved in political, cultural, or religious activities that are informative and entertaining, or for falling in love with someone exotic and quite different from your normal type.

June 23rd hosts a full moon in your marriage, best friends, business partnerships, competitors, enemies, and rivalries (think yin-yang) sector. Full moons are for grand finales, endings, closure, and “ta-da!” moments. There is nothing negatively affecting this grand finale, ending, closure, or “ta-da!” moment involving a partner or rival. You can end a dysfunctional relationship, agree to stop treating each other badly (thus creating room for a positive new beginning in a pre-existing relationship), or finally make a commitment to each other after a long courtship. You and a romantic, social, or business partner could successfully complete a project, goal, or activity that the two of you have been working on together. It is also possible that you could end a rivalry, conclude a competition, or simply decide that you are done fighting with your enemy. It does not mean that you have to like them now, but that you could simply be done with the act of battle. This full moon is also positively tied to the strong dynamic mentioned in the previous paragraph. This means that the two of you are likely to be enjoying romance, playtime activities, children, traveling, and getting involved in adventurous activities rather than breaking up or experiencing negative endings. This is probably a wonderful “ta-da!” moment for the two of you.

On June 26th, Jupiter moves into Cancer and your “me” sector. As mentioned in the 2013 Overview, in Cancer, Jupiter becomes far more nurturing. Cancer is the sign of the home, childhood, mothers, safety, security, a comfortable retirement, and what kind of private life we prefer. Jupiter brings knowledge, global awareness, and expansion to these topics. Globally, we are more likely to want to make sure that the world’s children are fed, the poor are sheltered, the sick are healed, etc. However, Cancer is not a gullible zodiac sign that can be easily tricked into caring for the manipulative, dysfunctional, or lazy. Cancer is the classic Mother Hen always looking out for her loved ones but also shrewd, intuitive, and not at all afraid to call us out when we are getting out of line. It is the Mother Hen who not only loves us enough to tell us the truth about ourselves when we are being jerks, but also the same one who will roll up her sleeves and get to work helping us when we are in our time of need. Jupiter’s time in Cancer could help us globally to become kinder and more caring towards each other, but we will be expected to maintain a realistic and practical outlook while doing so. From June 28th through July 5th, the sun is opposing Pluto. Oppositions between these two sectors usually involve disagreements or challenges between the two of you.

From June 29th through July 3rd, Venus is clashing with Saturn. Venus has moved into your personal wealth, salaries, wages, assets, net worth, and self-worth sector and Saturn is still in your personal pleasure, lovers, romance, playtime, hobbies, creative talents, pets, children, sports, leisure, luxury, and happiness sector. Your financial goals, budgets, and/or current income levels are clashing with your love life, parenting, hobbies, vacations, playtime activities, wish to splurge, and/or your desire to purchase luxury items. You need to be frugal and find ways to say, “I love you” and ways to entertain yourself without blowing your budget.
