You and your friends, roommates, colleagues, parents, partners, and/or teammates are really enjoying yourselves as you get involved in legal, cultural, political, religious, academic, media, and/or travel-related activities.  Of course, that means that there are big debates involving these topics, but that is to be expected.  Mostly, you are all enjoying yourselves.  You also have a small battle between your home life and your professional life, but you should be able to find a way to juggle the two without dropping the ball in either area.

Old News

From November 16th through March 23rd, Saturn and Neptune are joining forces on your behalf.  Saturn is still in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, childhood issues, retirement planning, and coming home sector trying to teach you life lessons about these topics.  And Neptune is still in your trust and sharing, intimacy, fidelity, loyalty, joint assets, joint ventures, investments, stocks, commissions, child and spousal support, inheritances, lotteries, taxes, and profit sharing sector trying to help you to experience a bit of “magic” in these areas of your life.  In early February, Neptune will relocate to your long distance travel, languages, foreigners, relocations, tourism, cultures, politics, laws, religions, mass media, and global awareness sector.  Together, Saturn and Neptune combine logic and intuition, practicality and spirituality, critical analysis and compassion in a lovely manner.  To begin with, this is a wonderful time for you bring more romantic and financial security into your private life.  This is a good time for romantic couples to move in together, for date nights tucked away in front of the fireplace, and for making romantic commitments to each other.  It is also a good time for working on joint finances, household budgets, tax planning, estate planning, mortgages, child and spousal support, and/or for home-based businesses.  Later, after Neptune moves into his new location, Saturn and Neptune are promoting the idea of bringing more culture, politics, religion, academics, media, or philosophy into your home and private life.  You could host a foreign exchange student, decorate in an exotic motif, start taking college classes from your home computer, etc.  This is a good time for hosting long-distance travelers, bringing multiculturalism into your home, looking at ways to travel during your retirement, settling legal issues concerning your residence, and for relocating to another city.  You might also want to look at those programs that allow people to swap homes as a way of traveling more economically.  Anything that brings more culture, knowledge, and global understanding into your home is encouraged at this time.

From December 11th through February 6th, Jupiter and Saturn are opposing each other.  Jupiter has been traveling backwards through your friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, groups, social activities, networking, connectivity, science (how small parts connect to make the bigger whole and/or how they interact to create a process or system), and the Internet sector.  He is extremely close to the borderline as if he is going to move back into your success and leadership sector, but he will remain in your social networking sector.  Saturn is in your real estate, housing matters, roommates, parents, childhood issues, retirement planning, and “coming home” sector.  He has moved very close to the edge as if he is about to enter your playtime, luxuries, and happiness sector, but he will remain in your home sector.  The opposition is between your “social life” and your “private life”.  A roommate or parent is upset about your social situation.  They could be jealous and angry that you are hanging out with the wrong crowd, spending too much time goofing off, or that clubs, teams, committees, or the Internet are taking up too much of your time.  Saturn causes this roommate or parent to be more frugal, depressed, bitter, and/or conservative than what Jupiter thinks you should be socially.  You are in the mood to be social, to join groups, to be a team player, and/or you are enthusiastically working on an Internet project.  These things could be social distractions or they could be work-oriented projects.  Either way, your home life is suffering as a result.  Saturn is trying to teach you some valuable lessons about real estate, parents, roommates, retirement, and the value of “home”.  As a Cancer, you know better than anyone how important those things are, so be careful and make sure that you are not self-destructing on the home front.

From January 29th through February 3rd, Venus is opposing Mars.  Venus is still in your long-distance travel, relocations, languages, foreigners, cultures, religions, politics, laws, universities, mass media, and global knowledge sector.  Mars is still in your community, commerce, and communications sector.  When these two areas clash, we usually see all forms of transportation, communications, education, and cultural philosophies clashing.  There can often be a small town values versus global awareness debate.  Or arguments involving politics, religions, academics, cultures, etc.  Do what you can to try to create balance between the opposing forces and be glad that it is a short-term dynamic.

New Developments

February 3rd Neptune enters Pisces and your ninth house.  He will stay here until 2025.  In Pisces, Neptune is literally at home.  Neptune rules over Pisces and the concepts of mental health, attitudes, addictions, self-destruction, dishonesty, gullibility, emotional well-being, inner peace, intuition, secrets, spiritual mysteries, paranormal activities, charities, hospitals, prisons, corporations, bureaucracies, and other hidden forces that work behind the scenes.  Neptune will be stronger here than he has been in a very long time.  He will do his best to bring out the loving, compassionate, peaceful, charitable, and magical elements of Pisces.  However, there will be times when other planets are clashing with Neptune and he will instead bring deceit, delusion, and bureaucratic red tape into our lives.  For Cancer, Neptune will be in your ninth house of long-distance travel, languages, cultures, religions, laws, politics, philosophies, universities, mass media, and global awareness.  This is a tricky placement for Neptune.  The ninth house is about facts, absolutes, and differentiating and defining.  Neptune is about intuition, spiritual mysteries, and a vague unexplainable “oneness”.  During Neptune’s travels through the ninth house, it is easy to pick up new pieces of information, adore them, and then see through them, and drop them as being too shallow and not really “correct.”  You can feel as if you are on an endless pursuit for what is real and yet everything keeps coming up as illusions.  It is easy to become disillusioned about politics, religious dogma, academia, etc.  The trick is to be willing to “not know” anything and to just sort of absorb what bits and pieces of “facts” come to you.  Eventually, the data will settle into a pattern that allows you to just sort of “know” or “see” how things fall together in the big picture of life.

February 7th hosts a full moon in your personal wealth, salaries, wages, assets, net worth, and self-worth sector.  Full moons are for grand finales, endings, closure, and “ta-da!” moments.  There is nothing negatively affecting this one, so you should be able to accomplish, finalize, and/or complete any financial goals or projects you might be working on.  This is also a good time for closing out old bank accounts, selling assets, finally getting a job that pays you what you deserve, etc.  Mercury is helping to add intelligence, business savvy, commitments, and/or communications to this positive ending in your wealth sector.

From February 7th through the 11th, Venus is traveling with Uranus.  These two planets love to have fun and get quirky together.  They can create love at first sight, creative genius, delightful flirting, and wonderful charm.  For you, they are in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector.  Together, they can bring more charm, sex appeal, friendly compassion, and delightful social skills into your public image, leadership style, and professional activities.  This is also a good time for brainstorming professional and financial ideas.

From February 11th through the 14th, Mercury is traveling with Neptune.  As mentioned before, Neptune has recently changed locations and is still working well with Saturn.  Mercury and Neptune are encouraging you to travel, explore, take college classes, learn about other cultures, religions, politics, philosophies, etc., and they are helping you with legal matters and media related activities.  Saturn is still in your roommates, parents, retirement, and home sector.  This is a good time for hosting travelers, bringing multiculturalism into your home, looking at ways to travel during your retirement, settling legal issues concerning your residence, and for relocating to another city.  You might also want to look at those programs that allow people to swap homes as a way of traveling more economically.

From February 13th through the 17th, Venus and Pluto are not getting along very well.  Venus is in your professional goals and aspirations, leadership, public reputation, and climbing the Ladder of Success sector.  Pluto is in your partnerships and rivalries (think yin-yang) sector.  Your spouse, best friend, or business partner is upset about your reputation, professional path, level of achievement, boss, father, or an authority figure (could be a high profile client, community leader, etc).  Venus and Pluto rule over all forms of wealth and seduction, so this could be a financial battle or an inability to get your boss to change his or her mind.  The authority figure is trying to be diplomatic and fair, but your partner is being really stubborn, passionate, jealous, or suspicious.  If your partnerships are okay, then it could be a competitor, enemy, or rival is willing to smear your good name in order to win in their battle with you.

From February 15th through the 16th, Mercury and Jupiter are creating a bit of good luck, business savvy, and fun.  Mercury is still in your long-distance travel, languages, cultures, religions, laws, politics, philosophies, universities, mass media, and global awareness sector.  Jupiter is still in your friends, teams, clubs, committees, professional associations, groups, social activities, networking, connectivity, and the Internet sector.  Together, they help you blend your social activities and professional networking goals with your desire to get involved in legal, political, cultural, religious, academic, media, and/or travel related projects.  It is a great time for meeting new people through these multicultural activities and for traveling with friends.  You could also find it is a good time for working on global ecommerce projects.

From February 15th through the 21st, the sun steps into the same location where Mercury used to be when he was helping Neptune and Saturn.  Once again, you are encouraged to try to bring more romance, financial stability, and/or multicultural activities into your home.

From February 16th through April 1st, Jupiter and Pluto are working together in a strong and powerful manner.  These are two of the Titans of the Zodiac.  When they fight, it is awful and when they cooperate with one another, we are all blessed.  Pluto rules over trust and sharing; this includes fidelity and various forms of profit sharing.  Jupiter rules over knowledge, luck, and global awareness among other things.  Pluto is in professional, responsible, and civic-minded Capricorn.  Jupiter is in frugal, cautious, and reliable Taurus.  They were part of the big ugly planetary mess back in 2009 and 2010 that made it so hard for us to deal with political, cultural, economic, social, corporate, and governmental challenges.  Four of the five big planets were involved.  These are the first two to begin playing nice together.  Globally, we should see strong, smart, cautious economic growth finally begin to take hold.  Politically and culturally, people could feel a bit conservative and cautious.  That does not necessarily mean they will vote for their country’s “conservative party” but that they will be very mindful of who really does have our long-term financial and economic security in mind.  We will not want our leaders making foolish or risky choices.  We will look towards companies, governments, and other employers to pay an honest wage for an honest day’s work.  That might seem like a no-brainer, but it has been missing from our political leaders for too long.  For Cancer, your social sector is getting along quite nicely with your partnerships sector.  If you are single and looking for a romantic, social, or professional partner, this is an excellent time to ask friends and colleagues to introduce you to interesting new people.  It is also a good time for online dating and other types of matchmaking (business partners).  If you already have a partner, this is a great time for the two of you to socialize, join clubs, teams, and committees, work on websites or ecommerce projects together, or use the Internet to stay in touch.  This could also be a good time to allow your friends to help you deal with rivals, competitors, and enemies.  Or to turn a rivalry into a friendship.

From February 17th through the 18th, Mercury is also working with Pluto.  Mercury rules negotiations, intelligence, bargaining, commerce, and contracts.  He is in the area of your chart that governs laws, travel, media, and multicultural topics.  This is a good time for settling legal, academic, religious, political, and/or philosophical disputes involving rivals, competitors, and enemies (ex-husbands and ex-wives, included).  It is also a great time for you and a romantic, social, or business partner to engage in activities involving traveling, negotiating legal contracts, relocating, academia, politics, religions, or multicultural activities.

February 21st hosts a new moon in your long-distance travel, relocation, foreigners, languages, cultures, religions, politics, laws, universities, mass media, and global awareness sector.  New moons are for beginnings, conceptions, fresh starts, launchings, etc.  This new beginning in your life is tied up in the positive energies between Neptune and Saturn.  New moons in the travel, laws, and knowledge sector promote joining legal, political, cultural, academic, religious, and/or travel related organizations.  They also promote new friends from various backgrounds or new people in your life that work in legal, political, cultural, travel, publishing, etc related industries.  Saturn encourages you to bring these multicultural, academic, and global topics into your home.  Host travelers, decorate in a cultural theme, relocate to a new city, etc.

From February 21st through the 24th, Mercury is opposing Mars.  Mercury is still in your long-distance travel, languages, foreigners, cultures, religions, politics, laws, universities, mass media, and global knowledge sector.  Mars is still in your community, commerce, and communications sector.  You could find that all forms of transportation, communications, education, and cultural philosophies are clashing.  Debates about staying local versus relocating to another city and arguments involving politics, religions, academics, cultures, cultural differences, etc. are also possible.  With Mercury and Mars involved, this is a smart and passionate debate.

From February 23rd through the 26th, the sun takes his turn working with Jupiter the same way that Venus and Mercury already have.  Once again, you are enjoying group activities involving cultural, political, religious, academic, legal, media, and/or traveling.  You can use this for social activities, ecommerce, and for professional networking.

From February 26th through the 29th, the sun shifts focus and begins working with Pluto to make sure that your spouse, best friend, or business partner is also participating in the cultural, political, legal, religious, academic, media, or travel-oriented activities that you and your friends, teams, clubs, committees, and/or professional associations are enjoying.  Jupiter and Pluto are still working together to help you with your social and partnership-oriented goals.  On the 26th, the sun is helping both ends of this dynamic.  This is also a good time for getting an enemy to agree publicly to a legal settlement, or for you and a partner to settle legal battles involving groups, clubs, committees, an Internet entity, etc.  It is a diplomatic energy, so the legal settlements should occur without too much drama.
