Synopsis:

You are still dealing with travel, cultural, political, religious, legal, academic, communications, and/or philosophical debates and challenges. However, you have some great opportunities professionally, financially, and romantically this month. You just have to work harder than usual to not offend anyone or break any of society’s rules.

Old News

From March 25th through September 3rd, Saturn will be traveling backwards through your chart to recreate that big ugly battle with Uranus that we all dealt with in 2008 and 2009. Saturn is still in your ninth house of travel, cultures, laws, religions, politics, philosophies, universities, mass media, and global awareness. During part of the time that these two planets are clashing, Saturn will backtrack and revisit your eighth house of trust and sharing, intimacy, fidelity, loyalty, joint finances, joint ventures, and profit sharing. Uranus will be in your personal wealth and self-worth sector as this opposition begins, but he will be making a preview visit into your third house of local community, interpersonal communications, and commercial activities. Like before, globally we will see the world battling independence versus government, brotherhood versus civic duty, rebellion versus organized systems, chaos versus order. This has been a big part of the economic problems most countries have been facing. Civil rights, global technology, and international brotherhood are all aspects of this debate. In the past, Uranus and Saturn were in zodiac signs that specialize in seeing how old ways no longer serve us. Therefore, the focus globally was on how to tear down old systems. We fought over which systems to tear down, how to tear them down, which should be saved, and who had a better grasp of what was actually wrong with the world. This year, there will still be some of that, but there will also be a chunk of time when these opposing planets will be in zodiac signs that build, create new beginnings, and love fresh starts. Therefore, we will find ourselves arguing over what the new beginning should look like. 2009 was about what to get rid of; 2010 is about what to replace it with. In general, it is an easier battle and a lot less depressing. For you personally, it was and will again be about your finances and a “mine” versus “ours” battle, or an issue involving self-worth versus infidelity/trust issues. At times, part of the dynamic will also involve balancing your “home town” and “global” aspects depending on which sectors Saturn and Uranus find themselves on at any given time. Do you stay local or expand globally? Can you earn more with a regular salary or irregular commission checks? Are your financial prospects better in your current city or should you relocate to another city? Can you talk through your philosophical, religious, political, academic, and/or cultural differences in order to build trust? Can you handle a long-distance relationship without either of you cheating or destroying the relationship because of a fear of infidelity? The overall nature of the battle is “my needs and my way of doing things” versus “your needs and your way of doing things” and/or which location has the best financial prospects? Keep in mind that the real focus is on building something new, not on trying to salvage the old ways that no longer work. It is time to look at how to move forward, not for trying to recapture the past.

From April 8th through July 20th, Saturn revisits Virgo. As mentioned before, Saturn is tangled up in a battle with Uranus during this time, so his focus will mostly be on your finances and trust issues.

From May 4th through September 3rd, Jupiter opposes Saturn. Jupiter is sneaking up behind Uranus and the two will soon be in a partnership as they both battle against Saturn. Jupiter expands whatever he touches but he also tries to get people to see things from other people’s points of view. Jupiter rules over global travel, multicultural studies, philosophies, religions, laws, universities, mass media, and “walking a mile in someone else’s shoes”. Globally, we already have been dealing with younger generations wanting to take power from older generations. We have seen battles between fundamentalists and rebels, between government and independence, between old-fashioned rules and futuristic visionaries, between old media (newspapers and television) and new media (the Internet), between stoic go-it-alone philosophies and brotherhood philosophies, etc. Now, with Jupiter helping Uranus, the youthful, rebellious, brotherhood, social networking, and futuristic types are going to feel a huge boost of power in their favor. Remember, this is a yin-yang placement of an almost identical astrological situation back in 1965 and 1966. The Baby Boomers still see themselves as the youthful future-seekers, but a younger generation sees them as the old-fashioned ones dragging their feet and holding up progress. Jupiter encourages a global, multicultural, academic, and judicious approach. For you personally, Jupiter is helping with the small town thinking, extended family, local communities, Internet and commercial activities, and interpersonal communications side in the battle against Saturn in your global sector. You could find that you are siding more with the idea of independence, freedom, and using the Internet. Your personal finances, local community, and family life are receiving a delightful boost of energy. Your family may still be in a tug-of-war over politics, religion, legal matters, global expansion, academics, etc, but they are feeling more united despite their differences at this time.

From May 11th through January 31st 2011, Jupiter and Uranus are traveling partners. As mentioned earlier, they are teamed up together battling Saturn as their partnership begins. They begin their partnership in your personal wealth sector and are helping you to earn more money and to focus on your own needs and self-worth. Later, they will both move into your third house of local community, interpersonal communications, and commercial activities. They will then work hard to promote these topics and to bring more brotherhood, genius, teamwork, friendships, and social networking into these areas of your life. Telecommunications, business websites, and family businesses will be especially blessed by their teamwork in this area of your life. It is an optimistic, youthful, and sometimes rebellious energy.

From May 28th through August 13th, Uranus is visiting Aries and your third house of local community, commercial activities, and interpersonal communications. Uranus brings good and bad things to this area of your life. He brings rebellion, stubbornness, chaos, and eccentricity, but he also brings teamwork, friendships, independence, charm, genius, brotherhood, and technology. You could see more of independence, entrepreneurial ideas, innovation, and enthusiasm from Uranus while he is in his new location. He is fired up and ready to go after feeling bogged down by Pisces’ secrets, emotional issues, and bureaucracy. Internet commerce could work amazingly well for you during this time.

From June 6th through September 9th, Jupiter visits Aries and your third house of communications, commerce, and local communities. Jupiter is trying to give you a preview of the wonderfully upbeat, adventurous, and lucky energy that he will bestow upon you next year, but Saturn’s opposition is making it a little difficult for you to take full advantage of this preview visit.

From June 17th through September 9th, Jupiter and Uranus will be angering Pluto. They are already in an opposition with Saturn, now they are also clashing with Pluto. Jupiter and Uranus are still in your local community, commercial activities, and interpersonal communications sector. Pluto is still in your mental health, addictions, self-destruction, deceit, secrets, intuition, spiritual mysteries, charities, bureaucracies, and “hidden forces working behind the scenes” sector. This is one of those “Clash of the Titans” events. “Youthful rebellion” is butting heads with “trust and hidden truths.” Globally, the desire for transformation and innovation clashes with “there is a right way and a wrong way to manage a revolution.” The hard work and deep thought involved in successfully revolutionizing things is a rude awakening for idealistic groups wanting instant change. “Yes we can” is all about enthusiasm and group cheerleading. However, change does not come quick and it does not come easy. That does not mean it is not coming, it just means that there is some difficult “grown up” stuff that has to be figured out and impatience does not help the cause. For you personally, it is your extended family, neighbors, business activities, local commute, telecommunications, computers, and/or interpersonal communications that you are fighting with. Dysfunctional family dynamics, secrets, lies, dishonest business deals, local gossip, hidden agendas, and crashing telecommunications and websites could all be driving you crazy. It will be too easy to let dark thoughts run wild. You might have to fight quite a bit of stinkin’ thinkin’ to maintain your upbeat attitude.

New Developments

July 1st and 2nd, Mercury and Mars are creating an alliance. Mercury is in your daily work, coworkers, chores, to-do lists, productivity levels, physical health, and “feeling useful” sector. Mars is in your trust and sharing, fidelity, loyalty, commissions, and profit sharing sector. Together, these two can help you and your coworkers get a lot accomplished and earn more profits. This is a good time for employees to work towards earning more tips/gratuities, commissions, royalties, stock options, paid vacation, health benefits, and other forms of profit sharing.

From July 5th through the 11th, Venus opposes Neptune the way Mars did last month. Venus is in your partners and rivals sector. Neptune is still in your “me” sector. Once again, you and a spouse, best friend, business partner, competitor, enemy, or rival are not seeing eye-to-eye. This time, the energy is less confrontational and it is a little easier to mediate.

From July 6th through the 15th, the sun steps into the same place that Mercury was just in. Now, it is the sun’s turn to work with Mars to help you and your coworkers earn more of the profits while meeting deadlines and productivity goals. This time it is more action oriented rather than cerebral.

From July 8th through the 10th, Mercury is working to help ease the tensions between Saturn and Jupiter/Uranus. Saturn is in your trust and sharing, fidelity, joint finances, investments, commissions, and profit sharing sector. Jupiter and Uranus are in your personal wealth, salaries, wages, bank accounts, assets, and self-worth sector opposing Saturn and creating a big battle between “mine” and “ours”, salaries and commissions, self-respect and infidelity/trust issues, etc. Mercury is in a position to mediate and to offer solutions from within your daily work sector. This is an excellent time to work towards achieving your professional and financial goals. It is also a good time for you and your coworkers to brainstorm ideas about how to increase profits for the company and everyone’s individual income.

From July 10th through the 16th, Venus and Pluto are working very nicely together. Venus has moved into your trust and sharing (fidelity and profits) sector. Pluto is still in your mental health, spiritual mysteries, bureaucracies, and “hidden forces working behind the scenes” sector. These are the two planets in charge of seduction and finances. Together, they can help you work on financial goals involving large corporations, government agencies, hospitals, prisons, institutions, charities, and other bureaucratic organizations. They also help to create a wonderfully romantic and intimate date night energy for you and your sweetheart. You could also use this time for emotional and psychological healing.

July 11th hosts a new moon eclipse in your daily work, coworkers, to-do lists, chores, productivity, physical health, and “feeling useful” sector. This is an excellent time for new jobs, job promotions, meeting new coworkers, hiring new employees, new projects (professional and private), and for beginning a new (doctor approved) fitness routine. The sun and Mars are still blending your work sector and your profits sector; so professional and financial projects are encouraged. Since this is an eclipse, you could find that the new beginning, fresh start, or project launched in your “work” sector has a profound effect on your life. It might not seem like it right now, but looking back, you could realize that this was when things began to really change for you.

From July 19th through the 29th, the sun in your work sector is working quite nicely with Jupiter and Uranus in your commerce, communications, and community sector. This is a great time for sales meetings, business negotiations, professional communications, office computers and telecommunications systems, work-related contracts and agreements, and for creating a sense of community with your coworkers.

From July 21st through the 24th, the sun is also working with Saturn who is slipping back into Libra and your ninth house of long-distance travel, languages, cultures, religions, politics, laws, philosophies, academics, mass media, and global awareness. Jupiter and Uranus are still opposing Saturn. All forms of travel, communications, politics, and commerce are challenged at this time. The sun is moving into your partnerships sector. You could find that a spouse, best friend, or business partner is able to help you resolve the issues you are dealing with.

From July 24th through the 28th, Mercury and Neptune are creating another opposition in your life. Mercury is in your partnerships and rivalries sector where Venus and Mars used to be. Neptune is still in your “me” sector. Once again, you and a spouse, best friend, business partner, enemy, competitor, or rival are not getting along. With Mercury’s involvement, it is a more argumentative energy this time.

July 25th hosts a full moon in your “me” sector. Full moons are for endings, closure, and grand finales. This is your moment to create whatever “ta-da!” moments you like. Jupiter and Uranus are sending positive energy from within your local community, extended family, and neighbors sector. This means that your family and community supports you in whatever grand finale you want to create in your life at this time. Commercial and communications related activities also benefit from this full moon.

From July 26th through September 14th, Saturn battles Pluto. Jupiter and Uranus are already thumbing their noses at Pluto and they are still opposing Saturn. The travel, communications, educational, political, or cultural issues you have been dealing with get even uglier for a while, because of Pluto’s involvement. You are emotionally or spiritually upset with the religious, legal, cultural, political, academic, or travel related challenges. It is also possible that bureaucrats are adding to your troubles. To make matters even worse, Mars is teaming up with Saturn until August 8th and will be adding an extra dose of anger, aggression, and/or agitation to your role in this drama. Try to avoid legal battles at this time.

From July 27th through August 1st, Mercury and Pluto are getting along wonderfully. Mercury is entering your trust and sharing, intimacy, fidelity, loyalty, joint assets, joint ventures, investments, and profit sharing sector. Pluto is still in your mental health, spiritual mysteries, bureaucracies, and “hidden forces working behind the scenes” sector. Pluto likes to dig up hidden truths, trust issues, and hidden resources. Mercury likes to share information, analyze, and negotiate. Together, these two can help you find emotional, financial, and/or spiritual peace of mind. This is also a good time for financial activities involving charities, corporations, government agencies, institutions, hospitals, prisons, and other bureaucratic organizations. You and a lover could find this is a lovely time for soulmate-style intimacy and commitments.
