Synopsis:

 

You are going through a lot of emotional and spiritual questioning at this time.  You are torn between what people tell you to think, feel, and believe versus what you intuitively know to be true for yourself.  Luckily, you come to some conclusions that are tailor made for you and making peace with these questions helps you to become more self-confident.  You also have some strong positive financial blessings beginning to come your way.  You and a partner or rival finally end a big battle or complete a complicated project the two of you have been arguing over.

Old News

 

From October 11th through March 9th, Saturn and Pluto clash.  This is that same battle that the sun and Mercury triggered.  This time, it is bigger, uglier, and far more important.  Saturn is about to start teach you some life lessons about politics, cultures, academics, philosophies, foreigners, traveling, mass media, and/or other “global awareness” type activities.  Pluto is trying to add personal power, enlightenment, profits, and sex appeal to your mental health, intuition, spirituality, charities, and bureaucracies sector.  With these two titans clashing, you could find legal, academic, religious, political, cultural, and/or media related problems involving bureaucracies, charities, hospitals, prisons, government agencies, and other large institutions.  You could also find that you are simply battling yourself over religious dogma versus spiritual intuition.  Maybe what you “know” and what you “feel” do not match and you have to reconcile the two.  Saturn says, “Stick with the fact” and Pluto says, “Trust your gut.”  The whole world is going to have a tough time with these two planets battling, so remember that it is not personal and you are not going through it alone.

 

New Developments

 

January 4th and 5th, Mercury, Venus, and the sun are teamed up together in your mental health, intuition, spirituality, charities, and bureaucracies sector.  Venus rules over diplomacy, love, and wealth.  Mercury rules over intellect and commercial activities.  Therefore, this is a great time for negotiating positive solutions to help you with the bureaucratic, emotional, and/or spiritual problems you have been having.  You could find that you are able to organize your thought and to forgive yourself for not “having it all figured out”.  Life is a mystery and you are not meant to know everything about everything.  That is not to say that you will embrace ignorance and a “who cares” attitude.  It just means that you are able to show yourself some compassion while you chew on some of life’s meatier philosophical questions.  You have a hidden source of personal power, magnetism, and charm at this time.

 

From January 10th through the 20th, Mercury travels backwards to join Pluto who is still at war with Saturn in your religions, politics, laws, academics, media, and multicultural sector.  Mercury adds an argumentative energy to the challenges you have been dealing with.

 

From January 12th through the 15th, Venus and the sun are in the same spot in your mental health, attitudes, spiritual mysteries, secrets, and bureaucracy sector that Mercury used to be in before he started traveling backwards to rejoin Pluto. Venus and the sun are working together to help Uranus in your personal wealth, assets, budgets, salaries, wages, net worth, and self-worth sector.  They give you another opportunity to work on financial goals, brainstorm for new ways to increase your net worth, and make sure that you are not sabotaging your efforts.  This is also a lovely blend of “mental health” and “self-worth.”  You could come to embrace the notion that you are so much more than the size of your bank account.  Men especially can feel as if they are just a life support system for a wallet.  This is a good time to realize that you have valuable even at those times when you are penniless.

 

January 15th hosts a new moon in your mental health, spirituality, and bureaucracies sector.  This new moon is tied to the positive energy generated between Venus, the sun, and Uranus.  This is a great time for new attitudes, spiritual beliefs, and/or a new sense of self-confidence.  It is a good time for beginning therapy, learning how to pray, meditate, or visualize, and for deciding to create a new life for yourself that does not involve addictions, self-destructive behaviors, and/or allowing others to walk all over you.  This is also an excellent time for new jobs or new projects involving charities, hospitals, prisons, corporations, institutions, and other bureaucratic organizations.  This is also an eclipse so you could find that this new beginning creates a bigger impact on your life than you might realize.  It could be a life-changing event.  Sometimes with eclipses, we do not see the big changes right away, but when you look back on things, you realize that this was the moment when your “new life” began to take shape.  Since your ruler, Uranus is also involved; this is an especially powerful time for all Aquarians to create a fresh start that brings more inner peace and harmony into your lives.

 

From January 18th (or 17th depending on which time zone you are in) through June 6th, Jupiter moves into Pisces.  For Aquarius, he will be in your second house of personal wealth and self-worth.  Pisces can have a bit of a “now you see it, now you don’t” affect on your finances.  Jupiter can make that concept “bigger”.  You could find that money magically falls into your lap and then magically disappears again.  Overall, Jupiter is doing his best to bring you good luck, prosperity, and abundance into your finances, but when he clashes with other planets, you could find that big ticket items, overwhelming expenses, etc could cut deeply into your normal budget.  As Jupiter blesses your financial efforts, you could find that your self-confidence is also growing.  Jupiter helps you to be proud of your ability to earn your own way in the world.

 

From January 20th through the 24th, Venus is in your “me” sector working with Saturn in your long-distance travel, multicultural teachings, languages, religions, laws, politics, philosophies, universities, mass media, and global awareness sector.  This is a great time to enjoy these types of activities and for “journeys” of all kinds.  You could also find yourself falling in love with a foreigner or someone with beliefs that are very different from your own.

 

From January 22nd through the 27th, the sun steps into the same place where Venus is.  This adds to and extends the positive energies between your “me” sector and your “global awareness” sector.  Again, the focus is on exploring the world and the various people, cultures, laws, religions, political systems, etc that can be found here.  Broaden your horizons and enjoy the journey.

 

From January 25th through the 29th, Venus moves over to begin opposing Mars.  Venus is now promoting love, beauty, wealth, and seduction in Aquarius, your “me” sector.  Mars is still in your marriage, best friends, business partnerships, competitors, and rivals (think yin-yang) sector.  You and a partner or rival are battling.  You think you are being kind, diplomatic, and compassionate, but your partner or competitor is still really ticked off.  Luckily, this is a short-term battle, so try to be fair.

 

From January 27th through the 31st, the sun takes over the battle with Mars.  As Venus leaves, the sun steps in to continue the debate.  You are trying to get your partner or rival to see things from your point of view, but they are still annoyed anyway.

 

January 28th through February 15th, Jupiter and Pluto join forces to blend your mental health, attitudes, intuition, spiritual mysteries, secrets, bureaucracy, and “hidden forces working behind the scenes” sector and your personal wealth, assets, and self-worth sector together in a positive and productive way.  This is a good time for working on building self-confidence and increasing your net worth.

 

January 29th hosts a full moon in your marriage, best friends, business partnerships, rivals, and competitors (think yin-yang) sector and it is entangled in the opposition between the sun and Mars just mentioned.  You could end an unhealthy or unhappy partnership, agree to stop treating each other badly, or the two of you could complete a major project you have been working on together.  You could also find that a competitor or rival gives up the battle, loses the war, or simply stops disliking you.  Regardless of how it ends, you are somewhat relieved that this battle between you and a partner or competitor is finally over.

I have always felt that I should tell you when good things are coming so that you can position yourself to take advantage of as much of that goodness as you can.  And that I should also tell you the truth about the bad things coming so that you can brace yourself and plan accordingly.  I still believe in that philosophy even though we are going through challenging times at the moment.  Therefore, I will still write the original style of in-depth monthly forecasts, as well as the new “Hope ‘Scopes”.

From February 5th through the 7th, Mercury and Uranus team up to create some great brainstorming energy.  Mercury is in your mental health, spirituality, secrets, and bureaucracies sector revisiting a spot he was in weeks ago before backtracking for a while.  During his absence, Venus and the sun passed through here triggering this same dynamic.  Uranus is still in your personal wealth, salaries, wages, assets, and self-worth sector.  This is an excellent energy for working on sudden “ah-ha!” moments when you realize that you have been beating yourself up for nothing and that you do not really have to hold onto negative attitudes that are holding you back.  It is also an excellent brainstorming energy for plotting and planning your financial goals.

 

From February 5th through the 10th, Venus and Neptune are traveling partners.  Whenever these two planets work together, we can expect more romance, charity, compassion, kindness, beauty, and creative arts.  These two planets are teamed up together in your “me” sector.  Aquarians have been beaten up quite a bit over the last few years as Neptune has traveled through your zodiac sign and your “me” sector.  On good days, Neptune helps you to connect with the spiritual side of your personality and to be even more of a great humanitarian.  On bad days, Neptune makes you appear dishonest, flaky, gullible, and/or passive-aggressive.  Luckily for you, this is one of those times when Neptune is helping you rather than hurting you.  With Venus passing over top of Neptune at this time, you come across in a more romantic, loving, creative, and charitable manner.  People adore you.
