Tarot cards are usually associated with fortune telling these days. High profile scenes where they are used in films like James Bond’s Live and Let Die or Sherlock Holmes’ A Game of Shadows come to mind, but in fact their origins as a mere card game in Middle Ages Europe are far more humble. A full deck has 78 cards although often, for card playing purposes, 22 are removed leaving 56 cards in four different suits.

More recently we have seen people turning to the mystical tarot cards for something far more earthly – peace of mind. Take for example Jessica Dore. She regularly shares a different card with her 126,000 Twitter followers and provides her own interpretation as to its …

(9 Vital Steps) How To Manifest Someone To Think About You

How To Manifest Someone To Think About You

Can you manifest love? How to manifest someone to think about you? There are a few things you need to understand if you want to manifest someone to think about you.

First, you need to get clear on what it is that you want. This means getting really clear on the person themselves – their qualities, traits, and energy.

Once you have a clear vision of the specific person you want to attract, it’s time to put in the work. You need to start sending out positive vibes and energy in their direction. The more you focus on them and think about them, the more they will think about you.

In order for the Law of Attraction to work its magic, you also need to be open and willing to receive. This means letting go of any doubts or fears that may be holding you back.

Getting Back Up On That Horse Again

Sometimes, for whatever reason, we give up and quit.  Sometimes, we run out of resources
or start up capital.  Sometimes, our children, parents, friends, and loved ones need
us during their time of crisis and we gladly put our dreams aside to rush to their
aid.  Sometimes, we are simply burned out and no longer feel motivated to take action
despite still seeing the validity of the objective.  Sometimes, we do not have the
skills, education, or credentials that we need.  Sometimes, we simply cannot do it
alone and help is nowhere in sight.  Sometimes, political powers make it very difficult
for us to accomplish our goals because our aspirations conflict with their ideology.
Sometimes, our competitors succeed at sabotaging our efforts.  And sometimes, we
feel like we do not have the strength to pick ourselves up one more time to keep
moving forward, so we decide to just stay …

Whose Side Are The Angels On?

There are many times in a person’s life when they feel that they are at war with
someone else.  As children we often fight with our siblings.  In high school, groups
will sometimes end up at war with each other.  As couples divorcing, we sometimes
feel at war with our soon to be ex-spouses.  Office politics regarding the jockeying
for promotions, distribution of workloads, or the competition for a special award
or acknowledgement of great achievement within one’s industry can feel like war at
times.  Political races, corporate takeovers, and legal battles are all forms of
war.  And of course the wars between family clans, between gangs, between the haves
and the have-nots, and between nations are big and obvious leaving no room for doubt
when those wars begin and end.  There are many kinds of war and they are an unfortunate
but natural part of the human

The Dawning

It’s New Year’s Day 2007 and half of my household is still asleep from last night’s

festivities.  The skies are gray as I look out my window trying to tie a rope around

some wayward thought that haunts my mind and begs to be put down on paper as this

morning’s feature article.  The birds seem to be coming back – huge noisy black crows

this time and they create such a distraction as I try to concentrate on not thinking

so that I can let go and allow this to flow as it is meant to and not as I might

force it to.  And the word comes through and it calls to me like an old childhood

memory from somewhere in the back of my cluttered unorganized mind & integrity.  This

is the year that integrity stood tall.  That’s what they’ll say about 2007.

The Next 50 Years

Ten days after my daughter turns 18, my mother will turn 60.  And two days after
that, I will be 43.  Neither my mother, nor my daughter ever thinks about things
like personal growth and self-awareness.  My mother is from a generation and family
culture that has a “Love me or leave me alone” attitude.  My daughter has been raised
with a healthy level of self-esteem and does not feel a need to worry about whether
or not she will “grow” to become someone different, better, or a new and improved
version of herself.  My life has not been so simple.

When I look back at 18 and remember myself in my daughter’s shoes, I see someone
so very different from who I am now, but also I see the current me fighting to find
her way to the surface.  I thought that if I were perfect and

Why’s It Taking So Long?

You’ve been studying prosperity and abundance and you understand that there is an endless flow of wealth moving about, money is passing hand to hand, as are goods and services. You’ve decided that you want to jump in and participate in the game. You want your fair share of the abundant flow. You have found in your studies that your attitudes around earning money stink and you’ve done a lot of work to change your belief systems. You really do believe that you’re good enough and worthy of some cash rolling your way and you’ve been diligently affirming to the great cosmic forces that you are ready, willing, and able to accept your piece of the pie. So where is it? Why’s it taking so long?

First of all, your mind imagines your wealth a whole lot faster than the real world could ever possibly move. That’s part of the …

Focus Your Expertise

Yes, you are amazing and brilliant and capable of multi-tasking to a fine art. You can do anything you set you mind to and you know that already. You’ve become a master of juggling multiple responsibilities and you seem to be fairly successful at just about everything you do. So why aren’t you making the big bucks? Where is all that abundance and prosperity that being so multi-talented should be getting you? You are going to hate my answer, but sit with it and you’ll see that it makes sense.

Here’s a little secret to becoming wildly successful that most people don’t know and don’t want to believe. Most people are not capable of doing more than two things, sometimes three, really well. Before you start screaming at me, think about this – how many self-made millionaires are also workaholics? How many of them lose their marriages and/or their

Beyond Love

All you need is love.  Love conquers all.  Through love, all things are possible.  We are taught these concepts about love.  While it is true that love is an amazing and powerful thing capable of incredible healing, motivation, and miracles; a marriage needs more than that.  If love were really the only thing needed to sustain a long-term relationship, then most marriages would never end in divorce.  The ugly truth is that if we are not compatible with each other, than the road to ‘happily ever after’ will be long and difficult.

Compatibility is so much more than just agreeing that you are both morning people and that you both enjoy the same style of lattes.  Compatibility is a deep and twisted dynamic involving a combination of belief systems, personality traits, hopes and dreams, psychological needs, cycles and patterns, and mutual magnetism.  There are pieces of the compatibility puzzle that …
